Hi it is so fun to find this mod, i just realize that my version from rust in summer 2012 from Youtube was used in this mod for the mercenaries!! Either way, i have a request, i noticed my soundtrack version have a high bpm in this mod, do you mind if you can do a mod with my original version ONLY for both the mercenaries and for the mercenaries reunion, it is so frustrating to use steam music player to listen to my music and i dont like to turn RE5 bgm volume down every time i want to hear my soundtrack, hope you can do it for me, i just want both The Mercenaries and The Mercenaries Reunion bgm to be changed to Rust in summer 2012, i dont want any other original game soundtrack to be replaced but this 2 game mods. Listen i can do your orig version sure i will do it for the normal mercs for sure it sounds even better but just for the normal mercs not reunion and the reason is that im only messing with the bgm files not files like arc files that means when im putting the music there i dont randownly put it there set it like ok goes to for example to 2:15 and then starts again from 0:45 im cutting it 100 times to fit there thats why the music isnt always perfectly cutted i dont know how and already have something else there and its like that cuz the mercs from reunion ost takes less time than in the normal mercs so i can do it sure but i would recommend that i only put it in the normal mercs if youre okay with that? maybe ill try to do it for reunion but if it wont really fit please dont blame me for that
(you can also take the file from Resident Evil 5\nativePC_MT\sound\bgm\oto\bgm\s_bgm named s_bgm020 and change the last 3 numbers to s_bgm025 and put it in the Resident Evil 5\nativePC_MT\sound\bgm_dc\oto\bgm\s_bgm and you basicly have it there but the cut is gonna be bad)
ok its already there in a few minutes for normal mercs and like i said in the reunion mercs its gonna be poorly cutted but if you want it there anyway i gave you an alternative solution so you can do that let me know your opinion and ill reply as soon as possible your mix in rust is summer is great tho could listen to it more than orig rust.

Hey bro, i made some research to learn how to mod the game music, it took me these last days but finally i did some cuts here and there using Sony Vegas, so finally here is a link for my new version from Rust in Summer 2012 for The Mercenaries and Divine Hate from Devil May Cry for The Mercenaries Reunion, it was hard to understand what was happening with the music loop in game but i finally made it:
Well for a starter its not bad mine was something like that too the only difference with me is that im using audicity and im more into making the music cut itself and leave the best parts of it with my luck if i do the cutting like you did in my files it will be always cut horribly then they mostly are cuz idk where is the start of the cut or the end thats the thing and making it cut so it wont sound that bad is good enough for me so dont feel bad about it its hard.
In my conclusion its nice tho for starter also if you want to send me more or something you can add me on steam cuz i wont always reply soon so i left a link there.
i am using audicity i basicly put the music in there set frekvency and then i name it after the file you want set on preference the channels so they pop up in saving save in ogg put channels i reccoment 6 and then after the files name i put .sngw that is the simpliest way i can say it but you need to keep in mind that it is cutted so you need to cut the music too if you care so much for it and adjust the volume or mono/stereo but thats just for resident evil 5-6 for other games i dont know how just these.
