Literally downloaded the mod manager specifically to install this mod and only this mod, thank you. Good god, nothing has annoyed me more than the yellow paint in the remake.
I wish I could endorse 1000 times, seriously can't play without this mod now, this is how the game should have been to begin with. that paint was an eyesore.
I just wanna tell you that I installed this mod before even launching the game when I bought it the first time. At first I thought you only did the boxes and barrels. But after going on Youtube to watch other people play, I was simply amazed at how much yellow paint there is, literally everywhere. It was an eyesore! I could not be more grateful never having to experience it myself first hand and I can only express so much gratitude for your work.

Guys I recommend follow the devs recommantiones and choose the bloody wall / floor + the plagas symbol boxes. Better for gameplay and overview and adds even more immersion to the game!
Awesome! One element that dumbs down Resident Evil 4 to a simple arcade-experience removed, and realism and immersion 100% restored!
I hate all this stupid paint-smear and yellow duct-tape literally EVERYWHERE - even on windows to indicate for the most stupid players "heeeey look I`m a window and I know you would not have seen me without stupid duct-tape all over the glass everywhere!" Tzzzzzz...... In Resident Evil 2 the creepy old police station and sewers weren´t painted and duct-taped all over and fallen enemies also did not bling-bling-bling bags of gold like it was some stupid Super Mario arcade game. Every mod that transforms Resi 4 into a realistic dark horror experience and removes all the stupid arcade elements (like the paint smear and duct-tape everywhere) is the TRUE gold
