      I believe the weapon stats comes from the CQBR rifle (the original mod it's made for), that's why it's so powerful.

    To bad this also doesnt work for Ada in the new DLC, got the Typewriter and was like woooo, and went awwwww cause it doesnt work on her.

    is it possible to make this weapon stick to vanilla damage? it's too op and I only want the cosmetic.
    perhaps you can ask the mod author for permission to make a whole new one instead of replacing it, might solve the damage issue.
