I am having this problem with all cutscenes. i have read all the comments and tried all i could think of but this keeps happening. the gunblade will sometimes switch back to the right spot during a cutscene but then glitch again as soon as the camera changes angles. help please.
Yes, that's not just your problem, I know that, but I don't know yet how I can fix this problem in Cutscene, :( Indeed, this problem occurs with select Shirt(of extra section) in Cutscene. So you can select "Jacket" option(in extra section) for leon in game for that(not shirt or default), in this way, you can use your gunblade in game but sadly you can't see Sword in Squall back(in gameplay and in Cutscene). I'll try to fix that problem if I can.
thank you for your reply. i hope it can be fixed one day. i want to record as much footage with the gunblade on squalls back or him using it in the games. i am already working on another video. using your mods from RE 2-4, FFVII Remake and now DMC 5 which has FF8 mods too. this one is going to be crazy. going to try and include seifer and ultimicia this time too.
Nice, it's very good, and for re4 soon, I will be release Seifer as Leon and Krauser mods too. them add to my mods soon as possible. and in future not far, maybe after this work(Seifer as Leon and Krauser), I can make some better mods for Squall and Rinoa for DMC5 too. but other my mods for DMC5 , will release later in future, I don't know when for now, because I'm busy with many mods of FF8 for RE series now too.
Ok, I try do it soon as possible, wait for that. There is a fighting knife version now, you can get it. :) But please test it and tell me if there be any problem.
If anyone has Issues using the Gunblade,i found a workaround for that. You need to install https://www.nexusmods.com/residentevil42023/mods/507, it breaks the Gunblades Range and replaces its own,thank god you can modify it. it should be accurate with about 2x reach.
Gunblade mod doesn't seem to be working, when I have it equipped it doesn't show up, nor do the animations work as it should. I also have the Gunblade fix Gunblade place for Squall dress and Force Jacket addon for Squall dress installed, but so far nada. Any fixes?
I checked it, there is no problem, but do you use any other mod or change in animation with it, because I see that in your video, Leon used his left hand , and gun is also is his right hand. while Leon knife animation must be with his right hand. and for display Gunblade in back of Leon: 1. in section "extras" , select "Leon costume" and then select "shirt" of them 2.use mod Force Jacket addon to display squall jacket and fix place of gunblade.
and for test them, you can off other mods and test it just with Squall mod with other addon with that.
The Squall Model without Gunblade mod works fine. It's when I try to install the Gunblade mod that I encounter bugs. I tried to install it without any other mods, it gave me an infinite loading screen. Can you show us a video on how to properly install it.
1. don't use "Force Jacket addon for Squall dress " and "fix Gunblade place" together. "Force Jacket addon for Squall dress" have "fix Gunblade place" into this mod, and this mod just use for when you use "Squall dress". And no for "Leon jacket". "Leon jacket" will not display Gunblade place in back of Leon. and " fix Gunblade place" is just for "Leon shirt" So don't use them together. 2. it's possible , mod had problem with "Re Framework". 3. and freeze in load screen usually is because problem in uninstall mods. Maybe one or more mods were not properly uninstalled.
I did test them and it worked, there had no any problem. You can see them in pictures too, and in "description" section too, you can see how must select mod to work, select one of the 3 way, so it'll work. but also, you can uninstall all mods, and test them just with squall mod and gunblade mods with one of that 3 way in description of mods. 2. also, it's possible, mod had problem with "Re Framework" So turn off it and delete or move "dinput8.dll" of your installed game folder to out of that(ie: move dinput8.dll, to other folder out of folder of installed game) to avoid of infinite loading.
also would it be possible to make the gun mode for handcannon and the sword mode for fighting knife? so leon and krauser can have the same experience that squall and seifer had ;)
Mod doesnt seem to work when using krausers animations with ultimate trainer nor does the game load when using mercenaries leon,is it possible to fix this? Note: i dont know if it is helpful but i also play with the berserker mod
I did test mod in main story game and didn't in other sections, but I'll try fix it if I found time for test that in full game and mercenaries mod and other sections. one question: your problem is with gunblade mod or Squall mod or krauser's animations?

May you please make mods with the Lionheart Gunblade too?
There is allready a good looking model from Final Fantasy Mobius out there. Some modders used it for some skin mods in Dissidia NT or Devil May Cry.
And of course, I'll try to do it too as soon as possible.
