Well, yeah... I might be able to update it in the not-too-distant future. I'm thinking of starting to update my previously uploaded mods before I start working on a whole new mod pack. Right now, I'm working on updating my Handcannon mod, so it's hard to get to it, but once I update the Handcannon mod to v2.0 (which I think will probably be done in about a week, given recent trends), I'll try to adjust my schedule so I can update the Blacktail mods next. In the past, I thought it would be a pain to make a variation that always displays a laser, so I was hesitant, but now I'm getting used to doing tedious tasks as a routine, so I'm sure I can do it. I'm going to update the Blacktail mod to include the Always Visible Laser Module. Once we've implemented the options, I'll send you and other people who have requested this option a direct message to let you know. Please wait for a while.
While you're at it, if you have any other fun options that would be suitable for the Blacktail (XD pistol), please write them here. Always Visible Laser Module I think it's a bit of a waste to call it V2.0 just because of options. I'm not sure if we can definitely meet all your requests, but we'll do our best.

XD45? Unlike the old .45 auto pistols, the XD45 does not become huge even when it uses the .45ACP, and there is almost no difference in size between it and the 9mm model, so if you adjust the inner diameter of the bore to 11.5mm, you can make it look like the original just by changing the markings. As for the casing, it should be quick to transplant the case from the Killer 7.

I always imagined the Blacktail was chambered in .45, due to the final capacity upgrade being 13. The 9mm weapon description and ammo boxes ruined the immersion though. I appreciate your enthusiasm for detail and accuracy!
As for alternate colorways being omitted - I can live with that. Having the XD45 with appropriate ammo type would be amazing regardless. The ammo box retexture would also enrich weapon mods from other authors, like the MK23 Socom and 1911.

could it be possible to make a mod to replace to sentinel 9? just out curiosity. I don't see a lot done with sentinel 9 when it comes to modding so i wonder if it if there is some issue with modding it

It is true that there are not many Sentinel 9 mods, but I don't think there are any technical difficulties in the process of skin changing Sentinel 9 itself or replacing Sentinel 9 with something else. Perhaps there is a conflict with another mod, or the installation was not successful.
I have also encountered a similar phenomenon with a mod made by someone else, and the following procedure may solve the problem.
1. Click "Uninstall all mods" on the right side of Fluffy manager to remove all mods and make them as vanilla. 2, Click "Re-read game archives" to re-load the game files.
If this doesn't work, try activating the "Verify Integrity of Game Files" function from the STEAM screen after performing step "1" and let it check if there is anything wrong with the game files. After that, please execute the procedure "2" and check if the downloaded mod is reflected in the game.
If you did not succeed, I am sorry to say that the installation may not be successful for reasons unknown to me. If that is the case, it would be difficult for me to help you install the mod, but I would appreciate it if you could report back to me the results, whether successful or unsuccessful.

The PRO version of the gun says "SPRINC FELD ARMOR U.S.A." instead of "SPRINGFIELD ARMORY U.S.A." It'd be really cool for you to correct that! Also would love a version of this for the Blacktail itself in-game.

If you read the description section, you may see that the stamp on the side is different from the real gun, but it is a consideration not to bother anyone. If a certain company that exists in the US were to give me permission and give me the right to reproduce the stamp completely, I would even reproduce the cross cannon mark on the slide top. But unfortunately, that would be impossible.

First statement is understandable but regarding the "cannot be stamped with the name of a company that actually exists" is weird because there are other gun mods here that gives its proper "stamp" if you just go looking around. There is a Springfield XD-MOD2 out there that has the proper ""SPRINGFIELD ARMORY U.S.A." on its model but unfortunately no blacked out version of it. Anyhow, they didn't get any copyright strike or whatsoever if that's what you're worried about.

The XD pistol is my personal favorite polymer frame pistol ranked number one, so I tried my best to be obsessed with it in an amateur way!
