Please be aware to those that gave recommendations, if the name is too long it would just go off certain parts of UI (specifically the Merchants.) So I wanted to keep things as short as possible. Hell even "Mauser C96 "Red 9" Stock" just barely fits in the Merchants UI window.

And to those that asked I used the RE MSG tool by ponaromixxx on the Zenhax forums.
But it's not an AR-15 or an M4. The AR-15 is only semi-auto and has a 16" barrel. The M4 has a 14.5" barrel and a different handguard. The Colt 993 has a 11.5" pencil barrel and same handguard as the gun in the game.
"M4" is a designation the government gave the weapon when they contracted with colt for the weapon. M4 is not the manufacturing name of any weapon Colt makes. For instance, the federal government recently set up a contract with Sig Sauer for the Sig P320 modular pistol. They redesignated the weapon "M17" for use in service. If you'll notice, the rest of the weapons featured in this mod include the manufacturer in their respective names aside from the grenade variants.The mod author is correct in using the manufacturing name of the rifle (Colt Defense 933). For the purpose of this mod and continuity, it makes little sense to call it an M4 or an AR-15.
the blacktail is not a glock 17 it is a springfield XD as seen in the mod the matilda is not a makarov it is a vp70 again as seen in the mod the tmp is a steyr tmp i genuinely have no idea how you get that mixed up with an mp7 and for the "m4" thing please refer to @Danielcarlo13's reply
Any plans to update the mod for separate ways? The gun names are changed in the main game with the mod installed, but not when playing the separate ways dlc.
You need to get the humility to acknowledge that the problem is precisely your failure to understand, instead of using that phrase to act like everyone should be like you.

Colt 993is an AR-15 or make it just M4. There's nothing to cause confusion.IT SHOULD BE LIKE THIS !!
- BLACKTAIL should be = GLOCK17
- Matilda (visual design) = MAKAROV + some unknown extender magazine
- TMP = is MP7
- and for automatic machine gun it should be CUSTOM M4 A1 not Colt as u said
