Infected textures now work (Sort of, please read below)
Optional download for a version of this mod that enables Hair strands for Ada in Merce!
No longer makes other Ada costumes load mods, only her default loads them.
Unsure if this version fixes the Stuttering issue. Please understand that this is quite a hard bug for me to fix as I dont have this issue in my game. But please do test but be aware i just really dont know what causes it.
As for black screens, nothing in the mod should be causing that and if it is then i have no idea. Other mods that broke in the patch are most likely the reason, but i couldnt tell you why this mod is causing it for you if it is.
A few people have reported that this mod crashes the game when combined with the door kicking mod. Couldn't tell you why, they don't modify the same files. But just like any mod, I cant grantee combinations will work issue free. But i will continue to look into this. Sorry this isn't some amazing update, this mod is a little finnicky but hopefully its something!
Infection textures These textures are a b&@*$! and the way they work is annoying. The game will no longer checkerboard ada's face IF the mod your using doesnt change her face .mdf. If the game continues to checkerboard in cutscenes that means the mod your trying to use does edit the MDF and you will have to do some manual file swapping to fix that. (Sorry i am aware this is really annoying but i'm trying my best)
In the Ada mod you want, go to natives\STM\_Chainsaw\Character\ch\cha2\cha200\10 and take cha200_10.mdf2 from there and put it into natives\stm\_mercenaries\Character\ch\cha8\cha800\14 in this mods folders. Then rename cha200_10.mdf2 = cha800_14_FaceBlend.mdf2
It seems this update WITH Kick Doors 1.9.1 and Dodge Roll mod are working now. Its strange that it fixes itself but either way, Great work on this overall!
In the folder sir said natives\STM\_Chainsaw\Character\ch\cha2\cha200\10 Mine doesn't have any files. The cha200_10.mdf2 sir mentioned, what should I do? please help me!
If your getting Virus warnings when downloading this, im sorry but im unsure why. Neither Nexus or VirusTotal detects anything when scanned. https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/3f88f6bd83687704c409572819fde7a0dc36dd4f060a5e71f3b4a1742f3f3cb2
I promise after 11 years of modding RE games I haven't randomly decided to start adding virus's to my mods, its just weird Anti-virus detection.
Thanks for confirming this. for anyone who hasn’t been able to get this working after the recent patch please always remember to follow these steps. not just for this mod but for all mods!
Okay so for people who're having "seperate ways" disappear from the main menu when loading the game. I found some outfit mods have a folder in "natives\STM..." if there is a folder called "_authoring" just delete it and that is what causes it to disappear from the menu from my tests.
At first even with this mod installed it wouldn't work with me so i had to.
1.) Uninstall all mods (fluffy manager) 2.) go into steam and Verify Game Integrity 3.) then click reread game archives (fluffy manager) 4.) Install mods.
This advice will probably not work for every mod since it's impossible for me to test every outfit and im not a mod creator, but the authoring folder or maybe a certain file within causes the game to not load separate ways. None of my advice will irreversibly break your game its up to you to troubleshoot, I am just giving you a hint into where the issue may be and for me i was able to delete this folder without breaking the texture and playing through the whole campaign.
As explained in a few replies to people, this is not possible at all to fix. Ada mods were made with the Leon campaign model and those do not have the bones set up to support weapons on the back. For that to be possible the creator of any Ada mod has to remake it over the correct Separate Ways Ada model which is set up to use and holster weapons correctly.
All is good and working , but for some unknown reason this mod (and i did check it several times it is indeed THIS mod) makes all weapons invisible at Ada's back. Other than that all is good.
SO techie question that maybe someone can help with. I've done a whack load of mods converted to work on the ps4. With Resident Evil 4 remake's newer update V1.10 and DLCs mercenaries and separate ways NO Ada mod will work period. So I'm assuming the update of DLCs have changed the file structure? So for example working ADA mods --> \natives\ps4\_chainsaw\character\ch\cha2\cha200\00 mod would work (and by also copying this into a streaming folder as well) --> \natives\ps4\streaming\_chainsaw\character\ch\cha2\cha200\00 in both these structures you have the modded textures. Because making the mods for ps4 has nothing to do with fluffy mod manager etc.... is the Ada Merce and SP v1.5.rar essentially moving the files into a different file structure?? all other game mods work fine (Ashley, Leon NPCs weapons etc etc) So it has something to do with just ADA. (update V1.04 for example worked fine with ADA)?? Just curious if anyone could steer me in the correct directione tc? thanks very much
Yes, it was only recently that Capcom, the RE4 Remake developers supposedly had released an update or so recently stating:
"Capcom has started implementing the Enigma DRM in some of their games, which has caused a stir among fans and players due to its impact on modding and performance. The company’s decision to switch from Denuvo to Enigma DRM seems to be driven by a desire to take a more hands-on approach against mods, especially after an incident involving a mod during a Street Fighter 6 tournament. Enigma DRM is known for preventing mods from being executed and the use of external programs like Cheat Engine. It also has been reported to reduce performance, causing framerate drops. Despite these drawbacks, Capcom has chosen Enigma DRM for its back catalog of games, including titles like Resident Evil 4 and Devil May Cry 3. As for the future implementation of Enigma DRM, Capcom has not made any official statements regarding their long-term plans. However, given the recent updates to their games and the controversy surrounding the DRM, it’s possible that they may continue to use it in upcoming releases. Compared to Denuvo, Enigma DRM is considered less intrusive but has caused compatibility issues with the Steam Deck, which Capcom is reportedly trying to fix. It’s worth noting that while Enigma DRM has been criticized for its impact on modding, some reports suggest that most mods still work with it, except for those that inject DLLs into the game. In summary, Capcom’s switch to Enigma DRM over Denuvo seems to be a move to more aggressively control modding, despite the potential performance issues and player backlash. The future use of Enigma DRM by Capcom will likely depend on the balance they wish to strike between protecting their games and maintaining a positive relationship with their player base."
When I was using your mods, I noticed that when your mods are enabled, the weapons on ada's backs disappear (no other mods are loaded), I don't know if I'm the only one who has this problem.

Uninstall mods, verify game files on steam, re-read mods and install again.
It worked for me.
Ultimate Playable Ashey V6 is not working for me so I tried V5.5 and worked like a charm, I don't know why but you have to try diff methods.
