I think you forgot to edit the Dirty variants from the jacket costume. At Chapter 9, Ash bugs with her sweater and scarf (uses the vanilla game colour). However, if you use Clean Ashley it works as aspected.
Hmm, that is indeed possible because I haven't played that far into the game. I'll look into it and see if I can find the relevant files and upload an updated version here.
Hi again. I looked into it and it seems I missed the one texture. I haven't tested the mod because I haven't gotten that far into the game but give v1.02 a try and let me know if it worked :)
Can you make a version where only the hair and make up change because when I want to use this mod with another mod that change Ashley costume it will make the skin on her body and legs comepletely black
Are you perhaps using some other mod in combination with this one? It's only supposed to work with Ashley's Default Costume and not Casual/Romantic. Do you have any accessories on Ashley?
Fluffy Mod Manager -> Uninstall all mods -> Steam Verify integrity of game files -> Gwen Gragam selected only. Even if I do this the color of the hair remains the same. I have no idea.
This mod is great because I like Ashley's plain-colored school look fashion.
I looked through the game's files and it seems that when using hair strands, each character's hair mesh gets replaced with a special file that has a format and I don't have the tools to edit that format, I tried looking for it online on various forums but so far I couldn't find any tool or script or whatever to edit those special hair strand files.
For reference, a normal model in-game is stored as a .mesh.221108797 file but the strands are stored as .strands.20 and I can't find a proper tool for that. Now that I'm looking at the game's files again I can see that there are some .mdf.32 files which I can edit and that's usually where the materials are defined and that's how I made this mod (partially, anyways), by editing material files.
I'll see if I can get some results by editing the mdf files that affect the strands. If I find anything useful I'll post here again.
Hey man. I managed to edit the mdf file for the strands hair and I uploaded two new addons - one for normal hair and one for vibrant hair. Tested primarily on the "Hair Strands: High" setting, haven't played much in-game but it should be fine on both normal and high.
"Gwen Graham - Vibrant Hair Addon" doesn't work but "Strands Addon" works fine. hmm. The hair color is not my taste. sorry.
I love Ashley's Recolored outfit, so I would like to add a mod that leaves the face and hair as default. For example, leaving Ashley's lip color a pale red. I think the bright yellow hair makes a good contrast with the dark colored outfit. Alternatively, I think a mod that changes the color of the jacket to beige or another color would be fine.
I like the plain color fashion of people who can be seen on the street.
You're free to use this mod as a base for your own mod but if you do then please at least give me credits as the original author if you're going to base your mod on mine.
If you want to just replace Ashley's outfit then you'll have to go into this folder in the mod files: natives\stm\_Chainsaw\Character\ch\cha1\cha100
And then delete all the folders EXCEPT the one named "00".
The skirt still remains the same color though so if you want it to be black you'll have to recolor it yourself.

The hair color still doesn't change.

Thank you Sir ♥
Any way to add it to the casual outfit ?
