Using THIRD PERSON CAMERA mod adjustements, you can use this mod and go first person while keeping Leon's head. Takes some experimentation, but once you get it right you get first person quality and excellent cutscenes :). So to get it working, you don't install headless Leon, just this mod and Third Person Camera Mod (And, of course, Lasers for every handgun).
Then you edit the "Normal" values so you end up in front of leon's neck, and play around with it till it's not so buggy. And that's it, you will see inside Leon's head for some interactions so I suggest you enable the action camera. It will be slightly buggy, but it's the best combo of first person plus actually seeing Leon or whatever character you're playing as in cutscenes and in takedowns, so it's better than just seeing the headless horseman, yeah?
It's as close to perfection as we can get. Again, thanks to Elsuperaguas for su excelente mod! He is a hardworking modder who has provided us with the BEST mod for realism! And also a great chef from what I've heard hehe... :).
I started modding with the help of the videos above, in the description of the videos you will find everything you need to download to extract RE Engine paks RE Tool and file name lists(uninstall all the mods when attempting to extract the pak and also edit extract-pak.bat and change re2_pak_names_release.list for re4_pak_names_release.list and save it). And then for the .user files you could modify them with 010 Editor and Alphazomega's template RE_RSZ. and this is for the tool for the material libraries(.mdf): MDF-Manager_RE4R by Silver.
with both fluffy mod manager and ultimate re mod loader it has an inf black screen on boot up or i get infinite loading if i put them in mid game. help?
if you delete this files in .zip and repack in a new .zip, you can use this .zip in fluffy mod manager to install in both RE4 and Demo I hope, this helps
Tried everything but the game gets stuck on a black screen on startup. someone said in the bugs section to try a older version but i cant even download one.
Word is he finished it a while ago, but isn’t releasing it out of respect for Sony’s decision to keep the VR version exclusive to P,aystation. So he’s essentially buried it.
Flashlight doesn’t fix it. Head and body.are still decoupled and you still have to turn using a mouse or right thumb stick. Until that’s fixed, it’s just too nauseating to play in first person VR.
Looks awesome, but I installed Fluffy Mod Manager, installed all the mods and requirements, but nothing changes ingame. When I install the First Person mod it says in Fluffy (95 files failed to copy). Everything is still in third person, Leon isn't headless and no laser sights either. What am I doing wrong here? I installed the mods as an normal user and as an Administrator, no change
