My reshade preset aimed to clear up the visual "fog" and keep the dark tone of the game. I am using AMD's sharpening so if you dont use hardware sharpening but would like it to have sharpening just add to your taste with reshade.
If youve never used reshade then download it from their website and start the install process. Select the game "resident evil 4" and then browse for the .ini file when prompted.
The game will most likely not open due to silly DRM so install the fix found here, you only need the "RE4.zip" and from that you only need to move "dinput8.dll" into your game folder.
