Can you give me any advice on how to modify the fog color? i can't find anywhere how to convert float to RGB
Hey, Thanks for your message. Well, I assume you found the correct entry "Float3_InscatteringColor". You can see this entry has 3 values (and 3 subentries). X is red, Y is green and Z is blue. But the thing is, those values must be between 0 and 1, 0 being, well 0, and 1 being 255 in the RGB color model. After that, it's just basic math. When you have the RGB values of the color you want, you just need to divide those values by 255 to have the value you'll need to put in 010.
Hey, Glad you like it. So the optional files are for the demo only (works for the full game too, but they only cover the 1st chapter). The main file covers all the chapters. And the misc file is like the optional files, but the color is changed to yellowish-brown (only 1st chapter though, ftm). So if you have the full game, you'll only need the main file.
After beating the game the first time on Professional and didn't get an 'A' Rank simply because of the time it took, I've stopped pretending to take this game seriously and instead have been adding Character & Weapon Model Mods, Basically making it either Batshit Crazy, Absolutely Hysterical or Downright Stupid, usually all of the above.
I've got the White Wolf as Sequne, The Mutant Trolls as Bowser, Got Leon as Big Boss from MGS, Got Ashley as a Skeleton, The Heavy Frags are some kind of Confetti Device, The Red9 is a Halo Plasma Pistol, every Headshot Critical gives the Team Fortress 2's Green - 'CRITICAL' Effect on their death, The Lake Boat is a Bathtub with Iron Swords, Flash Grenades are Minecraft Torches.
The list goes on and on and on, Since I wasn't allowed to get the Tommy Gun and Ashley's Armor Suit in a legit way, I've abandoned all sanity and making my second run as Crazy, Stupid & Terrifying as I can without out right cashing the game on load.

This is easily my new fav mod, absolute 10/10! Btw is it possible to have separate intensities for indoor/ outdoor fog? Woud love it if the fog indoors was a bit less prominent
If you can. Can you make a version that makes the fog more or a tan brown color like the og re4. I'm working on OG REshade mod and it would work great with it
I don't think coloring the fog would work well (you could try). You should maybe look into the lighting or weather files. If you don't know how to use the editor, here's a good tutorial (for RE2, but works for RE4 too). Also this one.

And yeah, I noticed that some indoor fog intensities are rather extreme
I'll see what I can do.
