This is for those that don't like how so many reshades change the colours and feel of the game so drastically. A simple ambient occlusion reshade, which imo improves the look of the game a good amount while keeping the same feel and colours that the devs intended.

This mod is not opted-in to receive Donation Points
To install, download reshade (https://reshade.me/) and set to dx9 API for bio4.exe, dont need to install any additional effects, skip past them just copy paste the reshade-shaders folder from this mod into bin32 which adds or replaces any files in there. When in game press 'home' to bring up the menu and load preset 'simple ambient occlusion' in reshader-shaders/AO preset

These are obviously my preferences but you can adjust the level of AO as you see fit in the menu, although since they appear over certain HUD elements and transparent particle effects it can get too distracting imo. Highly recommend HD texture pack, combined with those 2 this game gets bumped to the ps3 generation.
