Nice work and concept man, thanks for sharing! As an aside, how feasible would it be to have Carlos classic hairstyle but with the current normal beard, both the cleaned up version and the rough older Capcom version? Could it be done? Any tips on how to do that if you don’t have time yourself?
It's doable and something I intend to do. The issue is we currently don't have the files for Carlos' Classic Hair. The people who know how to extract the games' files have only unpacked the demo, so switching the hair is not possible at the moment.
I understand, looking forward to it! Do you have any tips on how to get started with all of these model swapping by the way? I would like to try my hand on modding but don’t even know where to start. What tools and programs would I need? I have photoshop and RE Tool downloaded but nothing beyond that. Appreciate any pointers or tutorials for this.
These tutorials can help you get started on modding RE2R/RE3R in general: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=exiqeHHYDbw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZrGHcV4R-Sw https://residentevilmodding.boards.net/board/127/resident-evil-reimagined-modding-tools https://residentevilmodding.boards.net/thread/10087/updated-model-swap-tutorial https://residentevilmodding.boards.net/thread/10077/extract-pak-use-noesis
Thank you very much! A lot to go through, but its so interesting to look at behind the scenes stuff, hopefully I can contribute to the community once I get a handle on it as well. This is awesome stuff, thanks again!

NVM just re-read the post. It's unfortunate that happens. Oh well, must live-with I guess.
