Is it normal that it's so dark? Or am I missing something? It’s just that you can’t see in your comparison screenshots that the picture is getting much darker But when I install your preset it gets too dark here is an example https://ibb.co/N2W6dyw
I just checked. Yes, it actually gets this dark without RTGI. I didnt notice how big of a difference it is without. I'll just upload a less dark preset. Please let me know if that looks better to you or if you'd still want something changed. :)
I don’t know what exactly you were correcting, but I can say that it is worth disabling prod80_03_Levels and the darkness disappears It seems to me that you need to edit this setting or replace it with something else
I just adjusted exposure and brightness a little. Levels *should* only be noticeable far away, not in you immediate surroundings. It's what I've used to make the sky appear more "night-like" Though, I did increase the intensity of black in general with it. only by 1 though, which really didn't do much for me.
A few things: - What Color Space are you using ingame? sRGB has a lot brighter dark tones for me than Rec. 709. - Does your Monitor use a TN, IPS oder VA Panel? I'm stuck on TN so my contrasts are pretty damn weak compared to the other panel types. - Lastly, your depth settings in ReShade could be messed up.
But in the end, if your image looks fine now without levels it's alright I guess? ^^
Basically, I don’t like the fact that everything that is in the shadow is completely invisible And the original picture gives the outline of unlit objects + some glare in dark places that are not there when you turn off the reshade The color scheme is SRGB but it seemed to me that at 709 everything becomes even darker in general I like your reshade just don't like that it makes objects indistinguishable in the dark where the heroine does not turn on The flashlight counting that there is enough light Could you solve this problem? Monitor use a TN In the screenshot that I gave in my first post, it is clearly visible that the desk or objects in the corner are not visible at all, but should
Look at gamma adjusment far 1070 and color gamma 709 we get this picture https://ibb.co/bH1dnLq If to reduce gamma adjusment far to 0.818 then it turns out https://ibb.co/jr1YbcC But for both screenshots, a comparison of how it looks without using reshade https://ibb.co/2vJtPx9 https://ibb.co/QFRBgHt
In both cases, it is only about prod80_03_Levels Perhaps you would find better settings. If you don’t understand what the difference is, I can circle objects on which must look
And can one hope for an answer in the reshade codevein topic and a possible preset update? or no updates needed there?
What tool did you use to freeze the game? The idle animations and camera movements make it rather painful to create perfect comparison shots like you did.

Sorry. Thanks for pointing that out.
