NathStoner, thak you very much for your commented. I always feel myself happy, when someone like and play that mod. In fact I spent a lot of time for that. You know, when by self modding, then always something didn't work... and spend whole night in searching answer and in end didn't find - this is normal modding proccess ;). I have big plans, but as always I don't know how many things to do in this game. And... yes, it my fault, I didn't wrote about what kind of player outfit need to choose. I will correct that information. Thank you that you told about it. I didn't realize about that before. If you are interesting in modding that game, then I can help you. It don't hard, just need a lot of time and a lot of patience patience patience patience patience, because it only after 100 faults can get success in modding that game =)))))))
Hello! The mod itself is very nice, it is also very good looking, especially with the latest facial expressions that you've added. If it's your first ever mod, congratulations, because it looks super, super good!
I've encountered two bugs with the model. I am aware that you may not be able to fix them, but i figured out that i'll share it with you in case you're gonna want to fix the Daniel's model in the future!
So basically, after the fight with Nemesis where Jill gets infected, Daniel's body completely disappears, and is then replaced with Jill's, but the only thing of Daniel that stays on Jill is her hair, nothing else.
And after you cure Jill from the infection, Daniel's model gets completely broken, there is no torso nor legs of Daniel, and his face is weirdly textured for some reason.
Here's two images of Jill. First one is after she gets infected, and the second one is after she wakes after getting cured. It seems as if the 'infected' model wasn't replaced, and the infected model of Jill is a separate model itself, but the only thing that it shares with the other models is her hair which in this case was replaced by Daniel's. For the 2nd screenshot, i have no idea.
Thank you very much for your comments. It's very important for me, so nice to hear that somebody also like Daniel and mod. About first problem in hospital I know that problem. I also saw it in one my save. I try it to solved when I did facial, and it didn't solved. Look like need time to find how it work, but I think I can solve it. Sometimes meshes look like same in game, but it's isn't same (just copy and overwrite sometimes not work). For example, just overwrite not work for mirrored Jill-zombie in house (in begin of game). Second picture, look like game use original texture of Jill, not Daniel texture, often solved by putting texture to somewhere in "streaming" foldier. I try to find it, but I still didn't pass hospital. Could you give save with last picture? I do my best!
Today I try to put Daniel Diaz in Oblivion. There little different system with faces mesh. There I don't know way how to change face mesh, but can morph Vanila mesh and get result. In fact result not so nice, because polygons not enough and automorphing not ideal way.
Again, thank you very much for your comment and bug report! This mod take a lot of time (not one day) and mental power. I try to solve these problems. For me happy to see, result of few days of work was succesful, and you play in it. That's wonderful! =^_^=
update: First problem just now found and solved (will be in next 0.2b version publish). For solve second problem I need save or wait while I will pass hospital level :)
Update 2: Second problem also solved. I found in internet saves. It was in material files, game after hospital use not standart filename of materian (pl2000_01.mdf2.13 and pl2001_01.mdf2.13), so I just overwrited it by standart materials. Also found strange "feature": if you download as you first picture and quick take a look at Daniel, then you will see how Jill textures fast changing to Daniel textures. I don't know why this happend, maybe some lod's features.
Yes! The update fixed everything in the hospital, and making the entire mod playable from the start to the end of the game. The facial expressions that you've added to the mod are really, really good, even if they're just custom for the model. I Was about to give you the save, but then i saw the file update and i downloaded it to see if it works, and then i see the updates here, haha!

Thank you very much for your answer, my friend. I think only you play this mod. Thank you very much for your kindness! I know facial animation not so perfect as I want, but what we have. Need time to move vertex vanila face to vertex Daniel face in blender as much as we can closer, and after that do transfer weight. I am not moved them to close, so weight transfer not good, and after that by manual corrected weights of eyes and mouth and that all did my mind crazy :). In fact it need to repeat more precisely, but I am scary to lost my mind in that crazy progress :)
So special for you. I found they how to fix hair (big thanks to alphaz for his threads at forum about how to edit materials (in hex editor). So i changed PrimalySpecularColor, SecondarySpecularColor to 0.0.0.1, LimLightIntensity to 0 and SpecularRefrectance to 0 (I wrote ir here, because I very soon forget what I did) and that help me to do hair matt (not glossy). In fact I hate glossy material of hair because it look like as gray hair of old man. Too ugly I think. Please, take a look and, please, play it. It availible for downoad (just one material file) ^_^
