If you don't take into account the crutches and other crap - the mod is f*#@ing awesome, but it needs some work, in particular rewriting the scripts in the softlocks and giving the dinosaurs intelligence in one specific place, in all the other places everything works even too well The difficulty is like a roller coaster: in some places you fly by easily, in others it's too much, but that's so-so, since the game itself is wildly simple due to dodges One more detail: a dinosaur can't go through a door, but that doesn't mean it won't try to squeeze through it to eat you And unfortunately, individual segments suffer from backtracking and the fact that everything is built on crutches, breaking the atmosphere of a merciless dino-apocalypse by replacing dinosaur corpses with the usual corpses of enemies from the game, while giving out t-poses Except for that, in terms of atmosphere, it's a crazy cool thing. You open a door like that AND THERE'S A FUCKER WITH AN OPEN MOUTH
I Agree with 1 & 2 but 3 we never talk about that although I agree it needs a remake as in remake it into a new game that is more like Dino Crisis then whatever the heck 3 was supposed to be
dude you could do velociraptors instead of tyrannosaurs, then you could decrease the size getting acceptable within the map, it would be really cool, the suggestion is
I agree, May be have the Tyrannosaurus Rex (Nemesis Replacement), Allosaurs for sewer levels (type Gamma hunters replacement), Unfeathered Velociraptors (common enemy zombie replacement), Sabretooth cats (Licker replacement), and Plumed Velociraptors (type beta hunters replacement). Quite the undertaking I'm sure, but definitely worth noting.
Though i do hope we eventually get a Dino Crisis remake that stays true to that special atmosphere the original games had. It's like some of those N64 games that bring you right back to the time when you played them years ago. Something to do with the audio/sound effects/art and gameplay too. They really don't make them like that any more.
