Updates and notices will be posted here.

I scraped Survival Horror in favor of Survival Horror DIY, if anyone wants a similar version of the original, let me know, and I'll create one from DIY with your preferences. Currently, I am working on a new arranged mode.

One of my main reasons for creating these mods, is something that I noticed during the creation of the mod that I'm currently working on, is that, one, at the end of the game, I would have mass amounts of gunpowder and ammo, two, I never really used the spark shot, SMG or flash bangs, and hardly ever used frag grenades, so I'm working on a mod that kind of forces you to utilize everything you have at your disposal, and three, the reason that I created "Survival Horror Settings", is that at the gas station when the Sharif loses control of the zombie that you first encountered, it's over for him, what makes me any different? And that's how I always wanted zombies to be, a real threat, and when I met Marvin, I'm like "Dude, don't you know about herbs and first aid? I just got bite by a zombie a while ago, and I'm doing perfectly fine, if the CDC knew about these ordinary everyday items, then there wouldn't be an apocalypse" LMAO!

I don't really get the "to be revamped with HS mod"
I try to use both together and only HS works, don't know if this is intended, but I really wanna use this mod with that one
    Any tips? D:
To test it I start a new game (standard difficulty) and go to the first zombie, let him bite me, I don't die, and then one HS kill it.

It's in the small room to the left of the Press Room (1F). In the unmodded map, it's where you find ammo and a wooden board.

Interesting take on the game, but I also noticed your Sweet Dreams for RE3R and I was wondering: is it possible to add more zombies into RE2 as well, or at least add a chance for every room that isn't a safe room to spawn random zombies (or other enemies in general if it makes sense for that room/your progress).

It's always something I didn't like about this game (which I don't dislike the game, it's fantastic!) was that every playthrough was predictable because it always had the same enemies in every room. Moved key items was also something I wanted, just to make another playthrough more interesting (which you already covered).

It's possible, but difficult and needs a lot of beta testing for bugs and that's the problem with Sweet Dreams, while I will continue it, but constantly re-playing the same section over again, burns you out. Whenever I finish Sweet Dreams I will take a look at doing the same for RE2, no promises though.

Very good design, very crazy idea, it's not playing Resident Evil, it's playing escape. But I prefer to fight prepared battles in the Resident Evil series. Thank you for your work?

This mod works great for Leon A and B, I finished the game on both with just enough ammo, which is what I was looking for. I just finished Claire B and I couldn't find the second spare key for the locker room. Also the lab had a few pieces of Leon's ammo, including 1 mag round, shotgun shells, and some flamer fuel which Claire obviously can't use.

Did you check the orphanage for the other key? The lab is always buggy for some reason, I'll delete items there, and they'll still appear.

Oh you are right, I didn't even bother checking upstairs. As for the ammo its not a big deal since Claire can't use them anyway.

I wouldn't consider this mod "balanced", or something that brings the game closer to the Classic Survival Horror of the old games. I played the old games, supplies weren't this hard to come by. Relative to how many enemies are in this Remake, you have enough wiggle room to kill maybe 10% of the enemies, and then conserve ammo for bosses. Whereas in the older games you could get away with killing 60-70% of enemies and still have enough for bosses.

Does this make the mod bad? Not at all. But just know what you're getting into if you use this mod. Other difficulty modes allow for more leeway on how you want to approach situations. Whereas Survival Horror DIY railroads you into one playstyle. Dodge and Avoid. If that doesn't sound fun for you, then you may not enjoy this. I can only recommend it to people where the game's Hardcore mode isn't doing it for them anymore,  but they're not insane enough to do a Knife Only run. So this mod would be the next step.

For what it's worth, I'm enjoying my time with it.

Can't seem to get the newer version of this mod to work, only the one from the "Old Files" section works, the headshot mod is a pain also, but I have ran a full campaign with Leon with the mod and now with Claire I am having to reinstall everything and verify all the files I'm very familiar with modding and the Fluffy Manager 5000 so I'm a little confused. Anyways keep up the amazing work, I really hope you continue new projects like this I love replaying this game, but I love running it with items rearranged and less ammo/health, one thing I'd LOVE is to change enemy placements/insta-death from some of them if that isn't already in the newest version or even possible? Either way thank you Sicc for a new and refreshing mod for one of my favorite remakes.
