Best Reshade for 2 without a doubt,no issues with the latest version of Reshade also. The Umbrella version looks amazing with the blue tint, really makes it atmospheric.
Beautiful reshade-- the best I've seen out of the handful I've tried.
My only complaint is the PGUP hotkey binding for borders.fx. It's a default setting and I cannot find where to remove the hotkey assignment from this effect (it's not in the normal place to edit hotkeys/bindings in reshade-- nor is there an option to assign a specific hotkey binding in the specific effect settings where you can modify the size of the visible area. Really annoying to have an effect toggle assigned for me.
Borders are too niche to need a toggle, and I tried digging through all of the reshade settings and .ini file and cannot figure out any way to unbind that effect. I have a relatively common gaming mouse design (Steelseries Sensei Ten) with mouse "thumb buttons" on both sides of the mouse to suit ambidextrous users. I use my ring finger to actuate the thumb buttons on the outside of my mouse-- but those buttons are technically bound to PGUP and PGDN. PGUP just happens to be my quick turn button on RE2R.
So, I deleted the effect because borders are stupid anyway. BUT, other than that small annoyance, I've had no problems.
I'm not sure if that was even an intentional thing that you did with your reshade or not. Just pointing that out. If you had nothing to do with it, then it's probably me missing the setting in reshade. I'm going to just delete borders.fx because I'm never going to use it anyway. Hopefully that doesn't cause any problems. I don't see why it would.
**update** I deleted borders.fx and everything is cool. Definitely the sweetest looking reshade I've seen for this game. Thanks for the good stuff.
question, What reshade version should I use and directx ? Btw, i literally love your presets, i'm currently even using your fallen order one and didn't know you did some for RE 2 as I just bought it!
Hey, I was wondering what character model mod you are using? I love it. Thanks in advance! The girl with the blonde ponytail and freckles wearing Jill's battlesuit from RE5.

INSTALLATION
Copy everything from the "Main files" folder to your main RE2 folder.
(Where re2.exe is located)
IN-GAME BRIGHTNESS SETTINGS
Max brightness = Slider all the way to the right
Min brightness = Slider all the way to the left (for true blacks)
Brightness = In the middle
IMPORTANT! Disable the Film Noise via the in-game graphics options.
There are 4 presets included: Raccoon City, Umbrella, STARS Edition, Wesker's Choice
Open the GUI with the Home key and make a selection.
Play your game.
1. Rename "dxgi.dll" to "d3d11.dll" or "d3d12.dll"
2. Launch RE2 while Steam is closed (I used Fluffymanager)
Sometimes this bug will occur, as it depends on the game and other variables.

A question, is it also work for re3 and re4?

Claire Freckles 4K
Claire Green Eyes
It does not matter which order you install them.
Thanks! Best is a subjective term, but last time I checked this is still the most advanced ReShade for RE2, and soon to be for RE3.
