Has anyone run into the issue of having the turtleneck still showing up when using the neckless version + beautiful reality? It causes there to be like a weird cleavage cutout.
nvm I figured it out. The darkside version of beautiful reality innately includes the tanktop.
To anyone experiencing errors with the textures on the highneck version of this mod, such as missing or inconsistent textures , or if the t-shirt from the un-modded outfit is at all present, please see below as this was something I encountered myself.
1) Turn off all of your mods in the mod manager. 2) Click re-read game archives. 3) Re-enable the base mods darkside_withvest_standard - basic version 1.1 and darkside_withoutvest_standard - basic version 1.1.
Once these are enabled you can begin to turn on the mods for classic color, no fanny pack, no black shorts, red hair, beautiful reality, etc.... The mod description states that after turning on the base files to select your model modifications (no fanny pack/black shorts) followed by the texture modifications (red hair, classic color etc...), however, I did experiment with the combinations of the texture and model mods, and the order in which they were enabled , but could not replicate the initial error. Also this probably goes without saying, but ensure you are downloading the most recent mods from each page under the main and optional file headers.
I am currently using the following mods without any texture errors on the most recent update for December (added Resident Evil 3 to the main menu).
Beautiful reality v2.0 (for non Darkside outfits) Darkside beautiful reality v1.1 Darkside standard red hair v1.1 Darkside withvest/ withoutvest standard - basic v1.1 Darkside withvest/ withoutvest standard - classic color v1.0 Darkside withvest standard - no fanny pack v1.1 Darkside withoutvest standard - no fanny pack v1.0 (do not use v2.1 with Darkside as it will cause Claire's undershirt to layer over the modded textures)
I am somewhat new to modding, so I hope this helps. Good luck!!!
Don't know man I've tried doing the mods in that exact order and its still not giving any high neck for me. Edit: just got it working, strangely its still bugged in the bonus model preview in the main menu for some reason but loading in the game works fine. However I did do a steam re-validation and for some reason it re downloaded the whole game for me so do check that before installing mods.
So if anyone is previewing it in the "models" section be sure to actually check in game. The order I installed the mods was: 1. Basic 1.1 standard with/without vests 2. Classic colors 3. No fanny pack 4. Beautiful Reality Face - Claire 2.0 (Not the darkside one) 5. Darkside Beautiful Reality Face
Turning things off such as fanny packs does work and doesn't mess up the neck issues from what I've found however the top shirt or more like "the shoulder parts of the shirt still show a dark navy blue texture instead of the rest of it being black. Perhaps that's how the modder designed it or not doesn't really match with the black shorts like OG ps1 claire in my opinion. But from what I can see during gameplay turning the camera in certain sections causes the textures of certain parts of the costume such as claires neck and the knife go weird a bit.
