wild your comment was posted today, i am here trying to find a way to keep my OG inventory sounds (theyre so iconic, not sure why the remakes all went for clicks and taps), but i do believe in giving their new OSTs a shot after hearing some tracks in 3 and this one. Youre just stuck with boring inventory sounds if you do so. luckily 3 has a mod since they never even made a classic sound DLC for that one.
Love the idea of the mod, think you could make an alternate version where all the tracks possible get replaced by their "remake" counterparts? I hated how many tracks in the remake only play once and never again (such as how you did with the RPD main hall & saveroom theme)
Like I mentioned, not my mod, and I am not an expert in modding, so I am trying to find a guy or a group of people, who can do it. So far, I haven't seen anyone trying to replace tracks from RE2 Remake. Instead, they have only been able to work with the Swap DLC, which has its own downsides as well. But it's something at least. It would be good to experiment. Like having some tracks from RE2R, some from Darkside Chronicles / Memories of the Lost City, some remastered from RE2 OG, and some different renditions from different people, like Proxy One Creations and Jon Rob.
I understand where you come from, but I do prefer the Model Viewer theme to remain where it is. I like the more somber Save Room theme, due to a gloomier atmosphere. If only Capcom would actually bother with the soundtrack.

Also, what is wrong with RE4 Remake soundtrack? It is actually mostly great.
is there a way to include it in your download package?
Or else you mod is no longer useable.
