Play on the RTX version if you are getting weird bugs like randomly turning around and stuttering on the stairs (only some DX11 players get these)
Also everyone should give the default cam relative controls a chance, IMO they are really precise now and can weave you around zombies and through doors
cam relative is what I was using w/ D pad and B to run, it's just like playing the classic games.. I maneuver with ease... Thanks so much for this, really hope you tackle RE3 someday, would be a dream.
I have been a super fan of this series since I was a child. Resident Evil 2 has always been my favorite and I replay it once a year at minimum. When the remake was announced, it felt like a dream come true. I thoroughly enjoyed the new experience, but found myself longing to experience it with fixed camera angles. I followed this mod for some time, and was super excited for its full release. Playing this remaster with this mod has truly been a dream come true. Since it's creation, I have used it on all of my playthroughs. Thank you for dedication to the craft and preservation of the artform!
Sometimes the camera angle goes back to the normal over the shoulder or shows the camera angle on the fixed perspective, but still follows Leon/Claire. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
I love this mod, though after fiddling with the options I'm wondering if I messed something up. I also just updated to the recent version. I remember being able to hold square, and still being able to select weapons with the d-pad. That stopped working for me.
Another thing that's kinda strange for me, is that the d-pad tank controls seem to be influenced by the movement options you have selected for analog walking and running. I love having the D-pad be tank, and the analog being entirely camera based. However, after selecting both of those analogue options - there's this weird thing that happens when I turn or even just press forward on the d-pad. The character seems to snap to a direction for a brief second of time after an input is pressed before settling on a direction. So lets say I'm holding right and Claire/Leon is turning, the instant I release it snaps to a slightly different direction. If you press forward on the d-pad a bunch of times, this will even result in the character turning in almost a full circle. I wonder if there's a way to make the turning as smooth and consistent as it is while using the right stick?
I have never commented before this on this website, but I have to say, this mod is ART. thank you so much, you just made one of my most fav game even better.
Hey. Thank you so much for this mod. :) I just have one issue tough: sometimes the enemies simply do not load and requires to reload a checkpoint or savedata. Is there a way to fix this?

Either way, it's still amazing.
Thank you so much for this mod. :)
