I think it somehow looks right but it still feels off like the original run. Somewhat 'slow-mo' like you mentioned. Probably because of the flashlight hand movement etc.
Maybe it helps if you increase the speed by the half of what you set it to.
What also could work is increasing character speed by like 20%, 33% or something and leaving the animation in its default.
At first I thought it looked kinda slo-mo, especially on Leon (he has to be at 75% speed, they really messed up the sync for him. Claire is 85%). But that might just be my being accustomed to his normal animation. After getting used to it now I just think he looks relaxed. The footsteps look way more realistic though
I dont think it'd be good to increase character speed, the whole game is balanced around that
I think it should be off by default since the original jog animation is not that noticeable. The option would always be there for the user to turn it on regardless.

I dont think it'd be good to increase character speed, the whole game is balanced around that
