Camera Relative Walk Turning instead of strafing (4 comments)

    Is there a way to make walk turning automatic to camera relative/position? Like how would work in the RE1 HD remaster or the N64 version of RE2 with "First Person" control scheme. So far camera relative turning only worked while running

      Thanks! Could I make a suggestion for the relative camera? 
      To make like, at the slightest change of direction, change the relative position of controls to the actual camera (the way it works in RE Hd Remaster/ Onimusha Remaster)

      I.E You're running into Camera 2 from Camera 1, so you have to let off the joystick in order to change camera coordinates Camera 1 -> Camera 2.
      The option would make it change at the slightest change of direction (while still running or walking, without needing to stop). Or make a dedicated button who knows.

      I actually tried to hack that into the n64 version lol, actually found the coordinates.

      I added an option, "Auto Run Direction Reset", that sort of does this though its a little tricky to activate because you have to be pretty precise with the stick to not just start walking. It happens with a pivot rather than just spinning around and it resets camera relativity.
      I don't want to make it so it resets relativity at the slightest change of direction while still running (like REmake), I don't see the advantage in that. It just makes you stop and turn around, unable to continue through multiple cameras
