Can you make no adaptive difficulty like this? With it, the game will stay on high.
For example, if I choose standard and have no more adaptive difficulty, the chosen difficulty will stay on high rank 8. If I choose hardcore & no more adaptive, then the chosen hardcore difficulty will stay at rank 9.

I hope you you make no adaptive difficulty?

It's possible change maximum and minimum game rank apart from difficulty?
For example, After start on Standard then set to 2 - 6.

Is this Version 1.1-hotfix file standalone or does it require the original v1.1?

Thank you now I can finally play with aim assist without having to play the game easier (My aim sucks and I'm using a cheap bluetooth controller so the latency isn't very great)

I'm thinking I'd like to play the game with a solid consistent challenge but i don't want enemies to be on the ridiculously spongey end of the adaptive difficulty.

Can you recommend the best difficulty based on that?

Would it be like somewhere around standard 4 5 or 6?

I never truly understood how adaptive difficulty works: So, if a select in game the lowest difficulty but then set your mod to the highest adaptive difficulty would it be easier than harder than choosing in game the hardest difficulty and setting your mod adaptive difficulty to the lowest?

No it would be the same difficulty as if you chose the hardest difficulty.  The game's "real" difficulty option is the game rank setting (what this mod allows you to set).  What you select in the game is the acceptable range of possible underlying game ranks (actual difficulty) that are allowed.

Assisted will start at game rank 1.  But the more "player beneficial" actions you make (healing, hitting with your bullets, just evading a grab and/or doing the side push off animation, etc.) the higher a the game rank "point system" will be (which is not the same thing as overall game rank).  The more "player detrimental" actions taken/received the lower it goes (taking damage, spending ammo while not hitting a target/missing, failing certain events, etc.).

So there are two things here.  The game rank points and the overall game rank.  The game rank point system counts in terms of 1000s.  At 1000 - 1999 you are in rank 1.  At 2000 - 2999 you are in game rank 2 and so on.  The overall game rank (not the game rank points) decides how difficult things will be (the overall game rank counts in terms of integers/counting numbers --> 1, 2, 3, 4... etc).  The game rank "points" then are just a measurement for calculating when to change the overall game rank.  But the overall game rank, at any point in time, is your REAL difficulty mode under the hood.
