I also found this mod (and it's companion mod, GM79 for Leon) no longer function after "updating" the game with the ray tracing update and the "beta" that makes it the dx11_non-rt version. I fixed it follow maverickheart's own advice on his Magnum Heaven mod.
After a patch you have to: 1. Uninstall all mods 2. Click Re-read game archives in Fluffy manager 5000. 3. Reinstall your mods & start a new game
If try to load an existing save but haven't already got the the weapons screwy things can happen. For example in my Leon test game the GM79 was there but none of the ammo or upgrades for it were.
Because this mod doesn't replace the grenade launcher, I didn't replace flame rounds throughout the game, I just replaced some stuff in the guns locker room with shotgun shells.
how did you manage to modify the files is there any particular tutorial you're following? I'm interested in altering the zombie spawning scheme for both scenarios
I used a hex editor, there is no tutorial for this, it was cooperative trial and error. There are discussion on the residentevilmodding website, but nothing I know related to altering zombie spawns. I tried tinkering with zombie hex codes before and it just didn't work.

I started a new game and went and got the keycard but the shotgun is no where to be found.
I know that others have been having this issue as well, band if there's ever a fix for it that'd be awesome.
