Do the pouches, belts/straps, and holsters spawn as separate models from the character or is every version (with each additional pouch, as it does in vanilla) its own unique and complete model (character body, outfit, visible gear/pouches, and all)?
I'm curious because I'd like to know if it's possible to cause these to spawn or not spawn with any outfit or mod via a hex edit or something-- or does each character model (Claire default jacket for example) need to be unpacked and edited in something like blender to make the gear invisible? I notice that some mods will cause any equipped gear to disappear when holstered, which ties into this question. Just wondering if you'd be interested in explaining-- I don't make my own mods but I've been learning a bit about it for a few different games with the intention of eventually getting to that point. :)
