This works fine for making mods available. I do not know if the console commands work, but the console does open.
It took some work to get it going. Here is what I did, and I am using the change appearance and the lots and lots of skill points mods.
Install the game.
drop the Allow Assets mods files into the Remnant2\Remnant2\Binaries\Win64 directory.
edit the UE4SS-settings.ini file to have your mods directory specified.
[Overrides] ; Path to the 'Mods' folder ; Default: <dll_directory>/Mods ModsFolderPath = just copy and paste your mods directory location here
save the file...
For every mod that you create in the Mods folder, in the folder the mod is inside, create an empty enabled.txt file...
That is it, it works fine, I am using the latest and greatest v420332 of the game and the console opens, I am able to F9 open the VisualOverrideMod and change the appearance of my character, and I can have over 145 skill points, that is all that I can use at the moment, and put 30 points into each of them.
What's the current way to run this on Linux? the latest steamdeck version doesn't seem to be doing anything, and the windows version leads to the game crashing
As Some One Who Does Not Update Games I Can 99% Say It Is The Fault Of Windows 10 Update That It Stoped Working I got It to Work By Changing UE4SS-settings.ini In Remnant2\Binaries\Win64 From [Overrides] ; Path to the 'Mods' folder ; Default: <dll_directory>/Mods ModsFolderPath =
To [Overrides] ; Path to the 'Mods' folder ; Default: <dll_directory>/Mods "Example"ModsFolderPath = (G:\games\Remnant 2 (2023)\Remnant 2\Remnant2\Binaries\Win64\Mods) Put In Your Own Mods Location

I got It to Work By Changing
UE4SS-settings.ini In Remnant2\Binaries\Win64
From
[Overrides]

ModsFolderPath =
To
[Overrides]
; Path to the 'Mods' folder
; Default: <dll_directory>/Mods
"Example" ModsFolderPath = (G:\games\Remnant 2 (2023)\Remnant 2\Remnant2\Binaries\Win64\Mods)
Put In Your Own Mods Location
That Got My Mods Working Hope That Helps Someone
AddTrait /Game/World_Base/Items/Traits/Core/Leech/Trait_Leech.Trait_Leech_C
2. File Explorer Should open: Remnant 2 > Binaries > Win64
3. Carefully delete the following files:
- dwmapi.dll
- UE4SS.dll
- UE4SS-settings.ini
and the folder:
- Mods
4. Not required but for safety you can verify game files back in steam (to make sure you didn't delete the wrong thing)
- Steam > Remnant 2 > Cog Wheel > Properties... > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files
sory for bad englich
