i was using this to play in a peaceful private lobby with my friend, but now we dont really talk, im trying to go into a public lobby and everytime i click "go public" after entering the directory, it makes me go into a private lobby (unknown) , and i cant seem to get back into public lobby no matter what i do? am i doing something wrong? i even tried deleting the lobby manager but that doesnt work either
I keep getting "Could not access meta file" even though I followed through every step. I created a lobby last year and everything worked fine but after I had to reboot my pc, it somehow doesn't work. Any suggestions?
Okay. Got the lobby manager itself working again. But I still can't load into Online without crashing to desktop, not even when trying to enter a public lobby. Any suggestions?
are you using or have scripthook installed? if so you wont be able to go online you need to make a singleplayer folder with all the scripthook stuff for storymode and have a clean folder for online play
How can i use this with Rockstar Games Launcher? I set the Directory, but it constantly shows the error code "Could not access meta file". Would really like to play on a cheater- and griefer-free server.
I see that there's no multiplayer activities. Is that only for things like the Poker Table, or does that extend to things like running supplies for the camp?
done everything the video shows and cant find anything wrong but I keep getting a msg at the bottom of the lobby manager "Could not access meta file" cant find any fixes for this anyone got any ideas?
what is the correct root directory because i have the same message popping up and running as administrator doesnt work for me either, i have tried multiple file locations and still doesnt work
LJDK329, I had the same meta file issue. What I did that worked was open Rockstar Launcher, click Settings, click Red Dead Redemption 2 and then open the Installation Folder, click the bar at the topthat says "Red Dead Redemption 2", right click the bar and then press "Copy". From then on, I ran the RDO Lobby Manager as Administrator, clicked Change RDR2 Directory and pasted the copied file. I hope it works for you or anyone else who hasn't figured it out yet.
