JackKiddArt's amazing MOD - Kiddo's Minimalist Loot Economy Overhaul really helps with the immersion & urgency that I felt was lost in the game after you become a walking pack-mule, such as having to make a decision to stop into town or risk moving ahead with what you have & hoping for the best.
(I reached out to them to discuss the possibility of a Hardcore Version & they gave me permission to upload this as we think many people would like it.)
