About this mod

Included is every save file for every mission with Gold finishes across the board. AND I didn't miss anything listed on the "Missable Content" page of the wiki. And I avoided all stranger interactions, random events, and most other content so that you can pickup the game at any point in the story without the game being played out.

Gold Series Grinding Revision Update
The new and improved update is the completion of "Ch 1 - 2 All Gold Missions - Grinding Tasks Done - Gambler and Herbalist Legit Done and Much More". Before the first Ch.2 mission is completed, the Herbalist Challenge is done (using the horse and buggy trick, no mods or save editor). All cig cards have been purchased. All stolen hats that are available in Ch.2 are collected (plus a few that are only available using the save editor because they were cut from the game), and all letters that are available in Ch.2 by mugging townsfolk have been collected (again, including a few that are only available using the save editor).

And as before, random interactions (IMO, the spice of life in this game), are completely undisturbed unless they are required as part of an element of the game, such as when Javier finds you to rescue Bill or you encounter the skinny dipper while fishing with Kieran.

All but one dreamcatcher (south of Elysian Pond) has been found, all but 2 dino bones (the one north of Elysian Pond and the one NW of Van Horn) have been found. The includes the ones in New Austin. Did you know that if you walk around carrying a cougar corpse it will protect your head from the sniper, and you don't put it down when writing the location of dino bone? Furthermore, you CAN finish that mission with Arthur. The devs created dialogue in his voice and everything, which is further evidence IMO that they fully intended to have people get into New Austin before the Epilogue.

On this playthrough, I was on the generous side, but I did not make you filthy rich and I did not give you a virtually infinite supply of special tonics and seasoned big game. I still provided a horse-butt load of pelts, but I didn't save large pelts (e.g., bear, moose, and elk pelts) to your satchel. Generally, I tried to keep the amount of money that you have appropriate to where you are in the game.

I also did not play any of the "Arcadia for Amateurs", so no Silver Dapple Missouri Fox Trotter for you early in the game. I decided to strictly adhere to my rule of avoiding stranger missions, and I was even more strict about avoiding random interactions and innocent kills. That's why it took me so long to finally post this. I thought avoiding random interactions was difficult, but avoiding innocent kills is MUCH harder.

In fact, after I reached 100% there are still many stranger missions to do. Enjoy!

Older version
Included is every mission of the first 6 chapters and both epilogues with gold medals across the board. AND I didn't miss anything listed on the "Missable Content" page of the wiki.

My primary goal with these saves was to complete the story missions without doing anything else, with only a few exceptions such as completing companion requests, companion missions, and getting anything listed under Missable Content in Redemption 2 in the Red Dead Fandom wiki. So, the vast majority of stranger interactions, random events, hunting goals, challenges, etc., is still there for you to do, with the following exceptions:

-You're completely stocked for seasoned big game meat and special tonics.
-By the end of chapter 4, you're only a couple of interactions away from the last with the ghost of Agnes Dowd.
-The Gambling Challenge is done early on and the rewarded reinforced equipment is purchased. The only challenges otherwise completed are the ones that you basically can't avoid completing, like getting 3 perfect deer skins.
-The custom bear skin saddle has been purchased.
-I finished the first 3 Arcadia for Amateurs missions early in Chapter 2 so that I could use the in game exploit to get you the Silver Dapple Pinto Missouri Fox Trotter, which is the best horse in the game, IMO.
-The animal, fish, and plants sections of the Compendium are filled out over the course of the chapters, minus anything exclusive to New Austin.
-By the end of Chapter 4, you literally have a butt load of animal pelts on your horse, in case you want to turn them into the Trapper. You also have a satchel full of pelts and small animal carcasses.
-All weapons that can be purchased have been purchased and fully upgraded as soon as they become available. Additionally, I got the Carcano rifle while cattle rustling with Uncle at the beginning of Chapter 4, and I picked up the Mauser during Revenge is a Dish Best Eaten toward the end of Chapter 4.
-The only straight up cheat that I included (besides using the SE to increase the number of tonics and meats and such in my satchel) was adding the Pronghorn Trinket, which keeps any carcasses on your horse from rotting. It's possibly the best trinket in the game and IMO it's ridiculous that you have to wait until the epilogue to get it.

Rest assured, I DID NOT use the save editor to change any medals to gold, nor did I do anything (hopefully) to corrupt the saves. That said, I took advantage of 3 tools. I used save editor to pad the stacks in my satchel, I used CE to accelerate the game speed during the countless slow parts (not changing the game in any way), and finally, I used the Fly Mod by HCL. I don't recommend these until you've beaten the game the old fashion way, but I cannot recommend the later two enough. IMO, they don't break the game nearly as much as they reinvigorate it for folk like me who've already played through multiple time. They're awesome, and they don't corrupt saves.

I'll try to keep up with questions, and if I missed anything, please please please let me know. Enjoy!Included is just about every save file from every mission, as well anything that comes with its own save title. Soon I'll be adding the Epilogue.
