John and Arthur both have glitchy torsos, they pulse in and out when the mod is in my game but when its not its normal but i want big john. How do i fix?
I am having the exact same issue. Any fix you found at all? Also @ ThatWeirdGuyFromWork, not sure if you got a fix to this at all? The glitch appears even if I only am using this specific mod (as opposed to having both any of your mods for Arthur).
Unfortunately we can't, the mods both work by editing the current player character, not the model themselves, and that's how they can be compatible with basically any other mod without merges. That may change soon tho, it depends what I have to do to fix some issues with some clothing items.
Mods labelled for either Arthur or John technically work for both Arthur and John, the only difference between them is who they're tuned for. Jacked John has expression edits tuned for John's model, to keep him lean and mean, while the Muscular Morgan and Giga-Arthur are tuned for Arthur's model, who is acknowledged routinely by large men in the story as "the big guy."
I recommend making a folder on your desktop, "RDR2 Player Physiques" or "Arthur & John Bodies" or something, and keeping copies of all the different ASI files in it (they're only 63kb each, not much space at all). That way, when you're playing the game and want to make the switch to John from Arthur, you use Scripthook V2 to deactivate the script, drag John's in from the folder and delete Arthur's, use Scripthook V2's interface to confirm John's is activated, and then do something to adjust his weight, like take a nap or forcibly reset it to Perfect with Rampage Trainer.
Great mod - subtle yet effective, the arms are particularly good. I would prefer more attention to the shoulders and chest as I believe these could be increased for better proportion. A Giga John would be great as well.
Fair point on the shoulders and chest, I might tweak those when I get the time, but I'm trying to keep his silhouette closer to the original. Leaner, y'know?
Of course dude. But because I won't make Giga-John, if you feel like editing your own, or making those shoulder/chest tweaks happen faster there's always the Player Physique Editing Template. Just make sure to read the instructions, seems like not many are doing that.
I promise you I will NEVER be pissy about you using source code or taking inspiration from this like some other mod authors. I'm trying to spread knowledge and content, never gatekeep it.
