This mod not only restores its rightful name but also revives its original compendium description, giving players a richer understanding of its backstory. The original stats and weapon design, model & textures itself remain intact - meaning the changes are mostly visual.
The revolver was originally set to be acquired from Frank Heck, a gunslinger who was part of the mission "The Noblest of Men, And A Woman". Regrettably, like many elements in game development, Frank Heck's narrative and his iconic revolver were left on the cutting room floor, until now.
In a nod to fans and enthusiasts, this mod also introduces a feature not found in the base game. Though unique revolvers in Red Dead Redemption 2 traditionally cannot be dual-wielded and are only obtainable once, with this mod, you now have the option to dual-wield Heck's Revolvers. Perfect for those looking to fully immerse themselves in the Frank Heck legend or simply wishing to add an extra layer of firepower to their arsenal.
Requirements:
This mod requires Lenny's Mod Loader for proper installation and functionality. This mod is compatible with Red Dead Offline, ensure the mod load order is after RDO with Overwrite enabled for maximum compatibility.
If you already own the High-Roller Revolver, it will be converted to Heck's Revolver once the mod is installed. Otherwise, you can spawn it through Rampage as WEAPON_REVOLVER_DOUBLEACTION_GAMBLER. You can dual wield by spawning a duplicate model.
