About this mod
Ever thought the nights looked like recoloured days, breaking the immersion at night? This mod aims to change that to make the night feel like its actually a night, while leaving the days completely vanilla.

All screenshots are taken at midnight, the shitty compression makes it look darker than it is in game. I made sure not to make the weather too dark.
Recommend trying it if you're not sure, the pictures dont give an accurate impression of it, its better in game than in screenshots.
Installation -
Choose one of two ways
1) Standalone
Simply put the mod into your LML folder.
2) Combine with Vestigia OR visuals.
Install Vestigia or Visuals first.
Copy all the files in the timecycle folder in this mod, then paste and replace the timecycles in either of those two mods. Also copy and paste the 'visualsettings' file in my mod, and replace the visual settings file in Vestigia or visuals.
I felt like most of the weather at night just felt like the day with a few stars and a slightly darker sky, so I made changes, some sublte, some less so.
The clear weathers at night (sunny, high pressure, cloudy) have been changed the most, the sky is now black like is usually is in the country, its a little more desaturated, and the environment feels like its been lit by the moon, not the sun.
Some weathers such as rainy, thunderstorms, hurricane have been barely touched, but still improved slightly, to make it slightly more immersive.
Some weathers such as overcast felt very off, so i made them look similar, but feel more like a night should.
Snowy weathers have been untouched at night, except ground blizzard which has been slightly darkened.
Vignette has been removed from all weathers at all times.
The mod also lenghtens the weather cycles, so weather lasts for longer.
Both no12 and whyem have given permission for this mod to be public.
