Tested with last update on Steam version.
Installation:
-Go to My Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Settings
-Make a backup of system.xml file somewhere else
-Extract mod into that folder and overwrite.
-Open your system.xml backup, go to the bottom and copy the line with your GPU model.
-Right-click on the new modded system.xml and Properties
-Un-mark Read-Only and Apply
-Open it with Notepad
-Replace the line with the GPU model with yours
-Save & close editor
-Mark Read-Only again and Apply
Optimization:
-Set the following launch parameters: -ignorepipelinecache -cpuLoadRebalancing -processPriorityClass HIGH_PRIORITY_CLASS -fullscreen
-In Windows go to Configuration/Games/Advanced graphics, click Browse add rdr2.exe and set it to High Performance.
(AMD only) Within Adrenalin go to Performance/Settings and click on Boost Clock Speed.
UPDATE: Added 2 new files for AMD and Nvidia users. The best ones so far. For AMD is smoother than the other and more stable but peak FPS are less.
