Gold Panning
This mod adds a brand new gold panning mechanic that is inspired from the Prospector random enouncter.The idea is simple: you'll be able to set up your own gold panning camp, which you can use to find gold near rivers and lakes.
Installation
- Extract the zip file
- drop it's contents (GoldPanning.asi and GoldPanning folder) in the game main dir.
How to use
- After installing the mod, you'll notice new blips across the map that look like a pan or a bowl. They have a "Gold Panning" label.
- Go to one of these blips and look for the "Start Prospecting" prompt to appear.
- Activate it and your Gold Stand will be created.
- Next, you'll need to fill the stand with water. In order to do so, pick up the bucket (look for the yellow blip) and approach the water source. Look for the "Fill prompt" and activate it to fill up the bucket.
- Then go back to the stand and look for the "Pour" prompt.
- When the stand is filled with water, you'll be able to pick up the Gold Pan to start sweeping the material and look for gold!
- There are some additional features, but I'll leave them as a surprise :)
