i followed every instruction did everything the readme said unequipped m1899 and re equipped it editted the file and it just shows the default gun not the reskin no matter what also what do you mean install the file because ive seen you say it on other comments

should clarify the first precursor to the 1911 is the model 1900, looked completely different than the 1911, until model 1910 that's when it would resemble the 1911. if it's not a secret, what do you mean by the expression "install the p_hat band"? I just have the same problem that the gun is completely invisible and cannot be used. I tried to install the mod through the Mod Manager, but the game froze after the game started loading. + I have RDR2 officially purchased, but there is no "catalog_SP" file in the game directory. Such a file is in the "RDR2_Offline" mod. Can you help?
well i install the m1911 file with mod manager from lml and the catalog sp i use is from red dead offline mod. i dont know how your gun is invisible and cannot shoot, but my gun turned into a hat band (which i thought it was invisible) but still able to shoot tho. (sorry for bad english) \
At first, I realized what the cause of the bug might be (that there should be one mod in the "LML" folder (in my case, this is the folder with the RDR2_offline mod) and the p_hat_band_000 file (I threw this file into the LML folder both in the folder and without it). But it didn't help, I still have a default m1899, although I did everything according to your instructions. Can you still shoot the installation video? I'll try to explain it briefly: In the LML folder I have 2 folders with mods: Your mod and RDR2_offline(where the catalog_sp file is). When starting the game - stable hang! I did everything STRICTLY ACCORDING TO YOUR INSTRUCTIONS !!! So I strongly recommend that you still make a video guide for installing the mod. I decided to try this option for the sake of interest: I placed the file "p_hat_band_000" in the folder Red Dead Redemption 2\lml\red_dead_offline\compendium. And you know what? Now, instead of the M1899 pistol model, there is a hat rim (or collar), and you can shoot from it. lol
in my opinion this is one of the worst weapon mods created half the people that downloaded it said it doesnt work or they cant find the file name some one need to make a video or something because this mod is straight ass
My guy all you have to do is replace a string in catalog_sp then drag and drop one file to your stream folder. If you're so stupid to the point you can't do something as simple as that a video is not gonna help you.

also keep in mind that this is not a normal drop into lml folder, and that the gun can only be bought in the Saint Denis Gunsmith
