Changelogs
Version 1.01
Fixed typo in install.xml.
There is a heavy bloom effect in RDR2 and they didn't put a setting to turn it off or reduce it. That's why I made this mod. Also, since the vignette effect, which I found unnecessary, was in the same files, I added it to the mod... After installing this mod, you can add a different bloom effect using ReShade or Nvidia Game Filter, if you want.
Modified files: All files in update_1.rpf/common/data/timecycle/ are modified.
Total 1050 lines edited, starting with: <postfx_bloom_fog_mod_intensity> <postfx_intensity_bloom> <postfx_vignette_intensity>
(All these values are set to 0.)
Installation: - Install Script Hook RDR2. (Actually only "dinput8.dll" file is needed.) - Install Lenny's Mod Loader RDR. (Copy "ModLoader" folder content to game folder. Current latest version is Beta 11.) - Copy disable_bloom_and_vignette folder to Red Dead Redemption 2\lml - Run the game. (Mod will enable automatically.)
Uninstallation: - Remove disable_bloom_and_vignette folder from Red Dead Redemption 2\lml - Or: Use ModManager.UI.exe app from Lenny's Mod Loader for enable/disable mod.
