About this mod
A mod to edit John's textures to make him look more his age, hoping to capture the appearance a later 30's look Arthur Morgan had in RDR2.
- Permissions and credits
This mod overwrites John's textures to make him look a little younger, similar to how Arthur looked. Since John is 38 years old, I felt that the age of Arthur's face was a good baseline, and hoped to capture that same look with John. Currently, I've applied this face texture to most of the outfits, and hope to continue to do so for more.
Please thank BadassBaboon for their mod Reality Redemption, as what I have created use it as a base. I highly suggest checking out Reality Redemption and recommend using it with my mod, should you choose.
Though, you don't necessarily need it in order for this mod to work.
Note: As of right now, and to my understanding, MagicRDR doesn't have access to see all of the files within the game yet, and so I don't have the access I need to replace all of the outfits. If that's not the case, let me know in a post and I'll work on getting everything done.
How to Install:
- Download Magic-RDR or CodeX.
- Open up either program and locate your RDR1 folder "game\mapres.rpf\mapres"
- Replace the files with .wtd files included in the mods "mapres" folder.
How to Install Alongside Reality Redemption:
- Navigate to Red Dead Redemption\RealityRedemption BETA 3.0 PC\RR-Files\mapres_player
- Simply drag and drop mod files, allowing for them to be replaced.
- Run Reality Redemption as normal.
