from some angles you can see an black transparent poncho because this texture makes the poncho smaller without editing the fragment therefore the old poncho is still technically partially visible.
also hat is very similar to Arthurs which is nice.
Understandable, I'd be keen to learn more about editing the fragment to improve later outfits I''m cooking, if you've got some material I can read I love to take a look.
I'm not entirely sure how to edit fragments I just know how the games works from messing with magic heaps so I cant really help there honestly.
Its not majorly noticeable but I figured I might as well let you know its there cause I could see how it could be easily missed
I was curious that you were able to shorten the texture usually missing textures are black not dark transparent I presume it has something to do with the poncho physics.
But the only solution would be to edit the fragment to match up with the texture or increase the poncho texture size to vanilla but it looks nice the way it is.
Interesting, are you using magic RDR by foxxy? if so open it, open the mapres.rpf file in your rdr game file, then search smic_player_oldponch_1.wtd, right click and click replace then drop the file in but remember to remove the file from the ZIP.
The outfit looks cool but the fact that it tries to recreate the chaps by making them part of the same texture as the jeans irks me a lot, at that point just retexture the bollard twins outfit if you like chaps so much. THis outfit would look much better if the pants were all blue
I know right, sadly we don't have the tools yet to mess around with remeshing the model or changing UV locations. It was a choice between bollard twins for the chaps or Mexican Poncho for Silas's poncho. I'll drop a chapless option file in for ya.
Hey friend. I wonder if it's possible for you to make the outfit that John wears in the cover art ? Using the zombie john model or something like that, I don't know... I'm a big fan of that outfit, I try so hard to recreate it in RDR2

Nevertheless it looks great.
