EDIT: The shader that is responsible for the horse stamina (and likely the heath meter as well) is also responsible for the lens flare effect, thankfully turning this off will NOT turn off sun flares which are an actual in game effect, so all in all I am happy with this mod as I don't like camera effects in my games anyways :)

Unfortunately one cannot toggle the horse stamina bar off without also removing a shader that adds a sort of bloom-like god ray effect, you can easily see this in action on the first "mission" where you ride to Fort Mercer with that old man from Armadillo.

I found this out on my own then tried you config file to see if you did it different but it is as I feared, HUD cannot be completely removed without removing graphical effects.

Would love to true toggle HUD mod for this game that does not require Reshade! or a transparent HUD mod so we can make certain elements disappear...

Yesss ! Only separate mods can fix those. Reshade addon is limited in this.

Can you seperate the widescreen fix and the HUD fix? Right now, the only way to get the widescreen cutscenes is to ALSO disable the HUD. If you can seperate the widescreen fix, that'd be great!

I understood and tried the best of the Shader toggler. But along the Widescreen - Health Bar + Crosshair goes off. Looks like it's combined. Now HUD and Widescreen are separate. I guess some better alternative mods should be there.

I'm trying to find a way to hide the white dot that appears when aiming. Will this help me achieve that ?

it does but it also removes all HUD. would be nice to just have a widescreen fix by itself instead of bundling it in with the no HUD.

I would love a reShade preset like this for every game, i used them for a lot of fighting games especially Sparking Zero and it's quick AND immersive, could you figure out how to remove the black bar around the wanted logo? It's the only aspect of the HUD that still remains otherwise, fantastic job thank you again

Reshade is the comfortable and quick one to get results.

Reshade > Addons > Shader Toggler > Shader Toggle Groups > HUD > Tick Active at Startup

Not to insult this reshade, but that's what it is.  A reshade.  If I wanted to toggle any HUD or Other effects, I'd choose those mods.  Nice try though.

Me when I get mad at things I don't understand. The addon that this mod uses requires ReShade but isn't a preset and uses no effects, the addon is more like 3dMigito minus the ability to edit the shaders, you can only turn them on or off. Here is a mod that uses 3dMigito. A non ReShade "mod" version of this would be pointless, doing it this way doesn't require modding any files, achieves the same results, and can be toggled on and off in game. Nice try all you want.

I'd expect you can disable any effects other than the toggle.
