First of all, hello, I try to beautify the icons as much as I can. Even though it's amateurish, I'm happy if it at least adds a little color to your game. I tried upscaling the icons, but since I couldn't get a very efficient result, I'm skipping this topic altogether. Believe me, I want it to be as beautiful as the icons in RDR2 as much as you do, but my knowledge and talent are not enough. I am aware that the icons remain very dark, especially at noon, but no matter what I did, I could not solve it. I think the background that appears when we press the Tab key should be like RDR2, not transparent. I researched this but couldn't make any progress. I believe it will look better if there is a mod that fixes it in the future. By the way I played and finished this game for the first time in my life, now im undecided whether to continue updating the mod or not. Because constantly holding a digital brush and dealing with pixels made me tired. I think this will be enough for now. Thank you for your nice support. This was my first mod work. Stay "the good, the bad and the ugly"
Followed all your instructions, did not work for me. Using in combination with reality redemption, reimagined, overhaul ground and vegetation textures, some other texture mods, which all seem to work... Using pirated (fitgirl repacks) which I believe is a steam version rip. Any help would be appreciated, thanks
Which .rpf file did you edit in the game's root directory? Is it in the game/mapres.rpf path in your game's root folder? or Is it in the update/game/mapres.rpf file located in the root directory?
I figured out that I have to use the update/game directory because of reality redemption, thanks bro, mod works flawless. Just wish the logos were a bit brighter
I'm glad the issue was resolved. It gets much worse when the icons are brightness a little more. (The 1.1 Fullbright version in the pictures is the most concrete example of this.) I think it will look better if an RDR2-like effect mode can be applied to the background of the radial menu in the future.
I don't know about the R* launcher. If I'm not mistaken R* launcher it was re-downloading the changed files. Unfortunately I don't know the solution to this.
I already use this mod loader. But it only works with the complete rtf file. I use camera mods with it, for example. But yours requires MagicRDR (you have to edit the RPF file), which the game folder protection doesn't allow, because of the Rockstar launcher. Any chance of making mapres.rpf available for download with your mod? Then it would probably work with KML (loader).
I copied mpres.rpf to another folder, outside the game directory, and I still can't drag and copy the files. I must be doing something wrong. I recorded a video showing what happens when I try to do the procedure.
It worked, my friend. I had placed the MagicRDR folder inside the game directory. That's why it only ran as administrator. I moved the MagicRDR folder to another location, edited the file and placed it in the KML loader folder (to avoid overwriting by the Rockstar launcher). It's working perfectly now. Thank you very much for your help and patience. And congratulations on the excellent mod.
I tried this for the original icons but I didn't get an efficient result. It seems like it won't appear unless they break away from the original icons and make different icons. Thanks for your opinion.
I don't want to make a single rpf version. Because people use it with more than one mod (especially one of the most changing ones in this regard is mapres.rpf) and the file size of a mod increases unnecessarily. The most effective way currently known is to change the contents of .rpf files, and we can do this with magicrdr by simply dragging and dropping. If you need video help with Magicrdr, there are enough resources on the internet to help you with this. Thanks.
Whether you continue the mod or not, @marstonoverhere, your efforts are appreciated. You've brought much-needed clarity to the weapon wheel, which it was sorely lacking. Great job!

(Edit)
I did a short research, check this out and try it. The description states that it works for those using R* launcher.
