Love this mod, but for some reason my player blip remains bright white color while in all your images the player blip is just a black outline, could you tell me how to get that please? :)
So=ry for replying so late, currently away from home til the 15th. That black, hollowed out player blip should be part of my latest other radar mod. It has loose files which include that particular blip if you want to replace the file individually, instead of overwriting this one's entire mapblips file. Instructions should be in the mod page https://www.nexusmods.com/reddeadredemption/mods/312
Thank you! I succeeded in replacing the player blip, I see in your photos that you have only the main quest objective on map and it's a blue dot, how can I get this simple minimap free of all the cluttery blips? I searched your loose files and could not see options to do that, am I wrong? cheers
Ah, there's nothing to that detail. Blips for other side missions, main missions, and side activities wouldn't be shown while in a mission. These pics were taken during some missions activity or something, so that's why you don't see the rest of the blips, if that's what you're referring to?
There's another mod on here if you're wanting smaller blips, if you search for it. I prefer to use them and it just makes more sense to not have such big ones these days. When the game first came out, bigger blips were needed as we weren't all using super sharp HDTVs.
didn't find it, but it worked, i got all the way to where i was supposed to find radaring font, replaced the entire thing with the mod and it just worked, i think mines a bit bugged but i personally like the bug i made
I believe MagicRDR was silently updated in the recent week, so if you were not seeing it to begin with it may have been due to older vs newer versions of it display the folder and files differently.
