This is bit of an ask but if I sent you a a map blip mod would it be possible to merge it with your V1 mini map? I really like the look of your mod but I love the map icons the other mod has but it uses the same file, I cant link the page as it seems it was deleted but I still have the file, If not all good but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.
Going into the file in magic I realised it would be pretty easy to merge em but ill leave this here in case you wanna implement it anyway, and you'll be able to see all the blips in the dss as well.
So, here's the thing. I'm seeing a bunch of mods (so many uploaded in just a few days). And quite a few talk about taking the mapress.rpf file and replacing it with their mod. Seems to me, every time you replace the mapress file with a new one, you're losing any other mods you installed beforehand. Am I wrong? So, is there a way to avoid this? What's up with the mapblips.mtd file? Any way to get that in there without overwriting the mapress file? Thanks. I'd really like to add this mod, if possible.
it's because the game just came out and there aren't many ways to extract small files with the mod and give them, it's still a way if a single modder like me takes all the small files with mods and puts them in big one then you' will have all the mods in a big one...Tell me what other modes you have installed in the mapres.rpf file?
Your mods will be lost every time you replace the mapres.rpf file with a new one. This is true. Currently, the only known solution is to edit the .wtd / .xml .etc files inside the .rpf files. There is a "replace" in the features of the program.
Haven't figured out how to download MagicRDR. When I go to the site, I don't see a download button to get the .exe file in my RDR folder. It's just this confusing website with lots of info and sections, but can't see how to make it work.
Maybe a lower opacity or darker color would look better. It does not look as accurate right now. I don't mean to be rude but it kinda looks like vomit color. Here's rdr2 map which is darker with less opacity:
I know this is the first version, I'll make it better, but it's also the game because it's very gray, you have on my account the most realistic shader for rdr 1 to match
Dear friend, all that was requested from you was the name of the wtd file in the mapress.rpf file. Because people need to use more than mods. Also thanks for the mod, its good idea.
No problem! but only 10% know how to mod a game, especially to go into the files of a game and look for a certain file to change, it's complicated, plus you have to download a program for that, I put everything in a file to be super easy .I hope you like the mod

Also could you remove the health and stamina meters? I have an OLED and am not keen on burning in these elements :(
Let me know if this link works its just a couple images I will send the file if your interested thank you.
other than the house icon looking different most icons are just different colours.
Edit - Should note that the brownish colour of the actual map itself is a separate mod not connected to this.
