    Sticky
0.5 should fix the issue with the plant-picking-race stranger mission, tested it a couple times and didn't seem to have any issue for me.

FYI for anyone interested in script modding I updated a couple tools to help with script files:
    - updated MagicRDR to fix some issues with decompiling, and also allow viewing the raw disassembly: https://github.com/emoose/Magic-RDR/releases
    - updated RASM disassembler/assembler to work with RDR1 PC, can recompile script files for you without needing hex editor: https://github.com/emoose/RASM/releases/

For anyone trying to install this mod with Reality Redemption, You will have to edit the [gamefolder]\update\game\content.rpf and not [gamefolder]\game\content.rpf - Download MagicRDR and run it - Open the Red Dead Redemption\update\game\content.rpf file in MagicHDR
    - Navigate to content/release64/scripting/gringo/commonscripts (should have a lot of WSC/Script Resource files inside it)
    - Drag+drop the WSC files from the "optional files" section into the window, and let MagicRDR replace them (if MagicRDR asks to Import instead of Replace, close it down and try again)
    - File > Save > Current

Stupid mod with stupid installation method, because there is no contnet.rpf in the game folder. That file doesnt exist in a game directory.

    TO WORK WITH REALITY REDEMPTION:

    • Download and install Reality Redemption, follow its instructions (very easy)
    • Download Magic RDR
    • Download this mod and extract to open contents
    • Open Magic RDR and view the contents of this mod (open content.rpf)
    • Navigate to content/release64/scripting/gringo/commonscripts (should have a lot of WSC/Script Resource files inside it)
    • Right click on one of the .wsc files and select EXTRACT DIRECTORY (save the directory somewhere easy to find)
    • Now open [gamefolder]\update\game\content.rpf (RDR's game files) within Magic RDR
    • Navigate to content/release64/scripting/gringo/commonscripts again
    • Right click on one of the .wsc files and select IMPORT DIRECTORY (import the directory you extracted earlier)
    • Once successfully imported, save the file in Magic RDR then close it
    • Launch RDR and verify you are now skipping the loot animations

Are the loose files still valid for 1.02?

Yeah loose files will work for both versions, they didn't change the script files luckily.

How about a "Fast Skinning Mod"?
    I mean...
The skinning animations for snakes are fast.
I think if it applies to all Skinning Animations it would be good.

Oh neat idea, might be better than skipping it entirely, I did actually find a way to show skinned animal after skipping but you would be able to see the animal despawn and skinned model spawn/fall into place, maybe changing it to force a faster anim would work better.

Yes, yours is a good idea too.
What bothers me is exactly that, the animal disappearing instead of showing it skinned.
