I am mostly having issue with a night version. Once I get my guys into the trailer, the frame rate drops to 38 fps. When C2 charge explodes, it drops to 19fps which makes the map unplayable. Day version seems working fine.
Next release (some time after DLC more than likely) will mainly focus on optimization. I’m assuming the trailer giving problems on the night version is the lab / larger of the two with the garage and outdoor laundry?
First I’ve heard of that one. Not really sure what might cause that to happen. Do you have any other mods installed especially like a map menu selector or UI change? I’m assuming you downloaded the latest version of the map here on nexus?
Any way you can post some screenshots or a video of the behavior?
Cant imagine this would do it but could you delete your world data for the map? Should be in %appdata%/local/roaming/readyornot/saves or something like that. It’ll cause the map to take a while to reload again the first time.
I have played this map again after a long time and I can say that now it is in shape, now it is a map that I will keep for when I play with other agents. The extended version is appreciated.
I’ll look into it. I don’t think I actually override the AILevelData since 2.1.0 (aka RoN 1.0).
We don’t quite have everything VOID has to implement it exactly like vanilla at the moment. Ideally we could set up spawning with the new ModLevelData but that doesn’t seem to work. So it actually uses a blueprint to manage spawning instead so that I don’t get duplicate objective characters or stupid numbers of suspects.
I’ll see if I can figure out so sort of override or something but it might be a while frankly.
For some reason whenever I load into the map and start pre-planning I cannot click "Start Mission" and my character walks around and can throw grenades like I am already in the mission. Am I missing something I need to do?

I also have other mods like Gunfighter, Better Vests, Some Crack as a Treat, NVG Upgrade, RE8 NVGs, Balaclava, Unlock Customization, Body Cam Delta, Visceral Blood, and a mod that makes the wounds different.
I've installed mods (maps, etc.) that didn't work and I didn't like so I either Unsubscribed from the mod menu in Ready or Not or deleted them from the paks folder but I am not very good with mods so I don't know if those mods would be lurking anywhere.
Edit: Issue has went away, must have been on my end! Great Map!
I have the same problem. Can't start the mission, the "Start Mission" button doesn't work when I select either one or the other entry point. How did you solve this?
I am really excited to try this brand new update for it. It sounds amazing!!! Big hype. I also loved Patriot Hotel and Hot Coffee so It's pleasing to hear those come back too with new updates.
I miss the old counter strike map that was taken down. (De_nuke, it played well actually in RON, counter strike maps aren't a bad idea, I wanna see someone do cs_italy, and de_dust 1 & or 2. The new cs_office and de_militia for RON are awesome.
Just an update for anyone lurking here. Version 2.2.0 has been released as of 03/01/2024!
I worked hard and fixed a ton of things and added some pretty cool new features. Here's a list of a few of the changes:
- Compatible with RoN 1.0 Hotfix #4 (No Longer Crashes) - Fully Detailed and Voiced Mission Brief can now be viewed on your in-game tablet - Detailed Mission Select screen just like Vanilla maps. - Added Custom AI Hostage Taker Archetype. AI have a chance to execute the hostage if you take too long. - Added Custom AI Archetype for Johnny Redding. - One-Way doors and hinges. Not every door is a push door so approach them appropriately! - Fixed a ton of bugs such as weird window shooting collisions, guns dropping through floors, bullet impacts not appearing, missing models/textures, etc. - New subtle particle effects such as birds, rats, and cockroaches. - New meshes, textures, and sounds.
It's still a mod and there's still some known issues, but hope you all enjoy the work I've put into this update!
This update is amazing!!! the way the doors only open one way makes it so much more immersive and so much better! i love this map and this update. Thank you so much!

I was hoping VOID might have some overall optimization improvements since then, but I’ll look into an optimization pass for the next version.

Have you tried any of the more suspects mods? Not sure if they work since 1.0 but one might.

If you’re able to temporarily remove other maps for the time being that'd be a good way to test before I’m able to.
EDIT: Disregard. I didn't understand that I had to pick a spawn point prior to the button lighting up.

And yeah same! I grew up on 1.6! RoN 1.0 did a number on custom maps so give them time and hopefully they'll come back.
