The officer's insult both civilians and suspects. It feels like they shouldn't be cops cause they don't seem to care about civilians. Maybe make it so they only insult the suspects and tell the civilians its gonna be alright? Thanks...
During the play, there was a phenomenon that the voice of RON and SWAT4 could be heard at the same time. (ex. TOC voice) Is this because I installed it wrong? If not, would it be helpful for me to erase the original VO folder and install only your new voice folder?
This mod is great! Just wanted to drop a couple of bug reports here in case you want to take a look at them.
Forcefully opening doors (kick, ram, shotgun) seems to automatically trigger certain suspect voice lines: "s#*!, they're here!" or something like that. It seems like it might not be coming from an actual suspect since it sounds like its close even when there's no suspects around.
Operators use aggressive voice lines when arresting civilians, leading to hilarious exchanges where the civilian says something like "Oh my god! What's going on?" and the operator says "TELL IT TO THE JUDGE SCUMBAG" as they ziptie them.
Love the mod! Definitely less immersion-breaking than the cringe placeholder voices. I wonder if there's a way to make this mod install properly through Vortex. Obv Vortex would need to replace VO files instead of just dropping a pak in the correct folder, but idk how Vortex determines how to handle files on a mod-to-mod basis.
Does anyone know if there's a way to set this up? Thanks! :)
Cheers, glad that you enjoy it :D. I haven't been able to look at the mod since uni started and I'm unsure how Vortex handles mod installations. If you or someone does find out how it works, maybe I can figure a way so that it's compatible with Vortex.
Hey! Really amazing work, love it :) Is there any chance you could include other languages from SWAT4 like German or French? I have all those voicelines, but I don't know which ones correspond to the ones ingame, so maybe you have a list. I can also provide the original files if needed.
After reporting dead bodies or arrested suspects, TOC will say ""TOC to entry team..." before every line such as "Roger that, trailers standing by". The "TOC to entry team" line is unnecessary as the original SWAT 4 did not say that before every line.
Hi, thanks for downloading our mod! I believe this is a limitation with the game and the way it handles audio cues. However, when the game gets updated with the new TOC lines, we'll see what we can do to improve it :D
I've been trying to install your audio mod pack without much success; not sure if anyone's having similar issues. I follow your readme instruction and paste the VO pack in the specified path location and replace; when I boot default audio is still there and no overhaul audio is present. My friend who has the same mods is hearing it no probs. I've even done a game wipe and reinstall with him running me through the setup for each mod to make sure I didn't mess up somewhere.
Now I've had one instance after troubleshooting for quite a while where I got it to work; next day I launched the game again (there was no game update) and the audio wasn't working again.
Wondering if anyone has had the same or similar issues or if anyone knows a fix.
Yeah, I've tried doing that but sadly with not much success. What I can't wrap my head around is why the mod worked once, but stopped and also why I can't get it to work again despite doing the same things; even so much as testing it with a fresh reinstall and with no other mods.
Sorry that you're experiencing these issues. One suggestion I have would be to run an integrity check, then delete the folders that would be replaced by our mod, and then drag our mod into the VO folder. Hopefully this fixes your issue, however, if it doesn't feel free to make a bug report and we can take a closer look at it.

edit: reinstalled the game and dropped the files, and it works now! Awesome mod.
