So everything is working fine, except the gas mask. What am I doing wrong? Also the balaclava are on my team during the intro scene in the van to a mission, but not visible in the mission. I have both the recommended mods installed.
Hi! Do you have any other mods installed? The Masked SWAT optional mod was made optional because it can be very incompatible with other mods. About the gas mask, I might need more context about the issue, but I'll help you as much as I can
love this mod :)!!! But it seems that I have encountered a little problem---the facewear it cannot be displayed in the player character, nvg too. :( NPCS do not have this problem
Hey! Sorry I didn't answer earlier, i've been very busy. Yes, unfortunately this is a RoN bug, but as you already mentioned, ChanMk2's Fix Owner View fixes this issue. Goggles, gas mask, nvgs, gpnvgs, watches and weapon attachments all have this issue in the vanilla game, but it is all fixed by Chan's mod.
This sounds corny but as someone whos been following the games development from the start, this is easily my favorite mod on RON's Nexus Page. You guys did such a good job recreating the feel of the OG LSPD outfits, they truly seem like they should still be apart of the game.
Theres such a good chunk of items to use & some of them match so well with already existing vanilla clothing pieces (except for the pants but whateva).
Hi! Sorry, but you can't change balaclavas in singleplayer. You can only change them in multiplayer, in the character selection menu.
What "Masked SERT 2017" does is to change Judge, Prescott, Eli, King and Swan's default heads to their masked SERT counterparts, without replacing the original heads. This way you can still choose the unmasked heads in multiplayer if you want.
About AI support: Balaclavas only apply to Quick Play AI for now. Commander Mode AI is not supported yet. That is on the way, but it still needs a lot of work because I must adjust both balaclavas to each head, which takes a lot of time to do properly, trying to avoid clipping with other assets (like helmets, goggles, headsets, etc).
If you wish to use a different balaclava in single player, you may need to customize the "Masked SERT 2017" mod.
If VOID ever adds the character selection menu to singleplayer (or if another modder manages to add such feature), Masked SERT 2017 will no longer be needed, and you'll be able to select balaclavas in the exact same way as in multiplayer.
Balaclavas are only available in multiplayer, in the character selection menu, just like Home Invasion balaclavas. If you want to use this mod's balaclavas in single player, you must download the optional Masked SERT 2017 mod.
Once you downloaded the main file, extract it using WinRAR (or a similar program). Then move the extracted file to your Ready or Not installation folder > ReadyOrNot > Content > Paks > Mods > place mods here (if you don't have the "Mods" folder, create it).
Hey! No, the mod is not outdated, it was in fact released for the current version of the game.
Any item from this mod should have a "Non-Pulsate" patch as an icon (it's basically a dark grey circle with a black Spartan helmet, white borders and the "Non-Pulsate" text on it).
If you don't see anything like that in the customization menu, then you could possibly be placing the mod in the wrong folder, or you might have forgotten to extract the PAK file from the RAR file you downloaded.
Make sure the mod is extracted from the RAR file (you might need WinRAR for that) and that it's placed in your Ready or Not installation folder > ReadyOrNot > Content > Paks > Mods > (place the mod here - if you don't see the "Mods" folder, then create it).
Let me know if you're still having issues and i'll try to help you solve them.

Do not see any item from Mod,Expection for strap on NVG
Is it caused by because Mod is outdated?
