Is this changed based on the missions or just the door types?
Because I'm noticing some of the ways the doors swing open doesn't make sense.
For example, the entrance to the Gas Station should have one door you pull from the outside and one you pull from the inside (they're literally labelled), but instead both doors are pushed...
Hey, the concept of the mod is very good, but there are a few things that make it less viable in the long run.
First, there’s no indication of which way the doors open. It should be that when I look at the hinge, I can figure out in which direction they will open.
Second, when the map renders the doors as open, after the first person passes through them, they close, and then the second person has to push them, and they open in the opposite direction
first one: you can check by peaking or intall tappy ( https://www.nexusmods.com/readyornot/mods/4958 ) to peek just a little. irl some doors i cant tell which way they go immediately by looking. i usually have to check then i get it wrong and look like an idiot.
second one: thats a problem with the ai being able to open the door both ways still. maybe be more careful with OPEN doors. it probably means the enemy is nearby. get them closed first so you can thwart any plans of the ai creating a fatal funnel. then breach at whatever speed you like.
this mod is viable in any time frame. i cant believe no one thought of this until now?!?!?!?! the game is so broken on so many levels. thank god for mods and modders. and i know the devs wont make the game more realistic in any way because theyll lose theyre entire john wick wannabe playerbase (95% of you). the health will stay at 160, the "damage cap" (wtf even is that) will stay, a tourniquet will heal multiple lung and eye point blank 762 bullet wounds, the game will be so easy a monkey could play it and they do.
please keep modding. we need a ui remover next, like all hud elements and icons gone lol thanks
fyi for the health complaining i just did theres a solution called "LessPlayerHP" https://www.nexusmods.com/readyornot/mods/4365 (30 health version) it makes the game finally fun no matter your mods
Super Nice Guy likes looking at the loading screen instead of actually playing! Even with increased hp and cheated armor values, the omniscient A.I. domes me before the map even renders. (Taking notes from EFT, I see.)
that's because you've sprinted in the front door before the maps renders. how is that my fault? play rainbow six siege and tell me how frequently you get an ace when solo rushing site. human make noise when moving. they're not omnipotent you just want to feel like a hero (literally named silent soldier), but ive played pvp on RON and trying to get a human player out of a barricaded situation was nearly impossible so why should it be super easy with AI?
if your getting dropped with health increase mods and amour buffs you got a lot more to worry about than losing to the easiest AI ive ever encountered in a video game ever.

When I touch the opened doors, the door I touch closes in my face. Is this a general problem or am I doing something wrong? I really liked the mod. If it is a problem related to the mod, I hope the problem is solved as soon as possible. Good job brother! Cheers!
Breaching shotguns still cause doors to open slightly with this - including towards the player - is that able to be changed, whether disabling it altogether or not?
great mod , absolutly brilliant but I ve noticed that doors open incorrectly depending on where are located the Hinges, If I am seeing the hinges door will open to me . I dont know if this is a bug , and if this happens every time .
in real life if you can see the hinges from your side of the door , always the door will open to your direction( there are a few cases that is not that way like kitchen door, emergency door....) , In the game there is always a clear sight of the hinges (sometimes is confusing like in the Hotel map, but if you look close to the door you will be able to know in which side of the door are you in ) and misteriously with your mod it is always on the contrary . I can see clearly the hinges of a single door , i know i need to pull in order to open it because i can see clearly the hinges but.... no , it open to the other direction with this mod.
alright i see what you mean. im not the mod author but i am testing it. youre 100% right there are some doors that swing the wrong way.
if you can see the hinges on YOUR side of the door then the doors should swing/open towards YOU, not away. i get it now! idk if this can be fixed but you might just have to ignore it.
it would be really cool to see it fixed. i love when realism is added to this game it makes it 10000% more playable and replayable.
now that im looking closer at hinges theres seems to be a bunch of problems. for instance some double doors have hinges on different sides of each door. weird. some doors have hinges on both sides because they knew it would be going both ways. idk this seems like a complete unfixable mess. i would just pretend it works right lol
Exactly, knowing which direction will open the door is crucial in order to take position before enter in the next room and split the team 2 operators in one side and other one to open it.
This is probably not fixable because of double doors. As someone said here, on double doors you can see hinges from two sides because this is the same door but rotated. For example if we made always this type of door to open in correct direction and next we will find out this door is used in double doors it won't work well. There are some maps which have doors variants like "somedoorname_left" "somedoorname_right" but it's only a few doors. We can think for something like "check door direction" button but I can't promise anything for now.
