The flashlights lighting will look slightly different in some maps due to the new lighting system - most notably meth house which now has much warmer lighting tones across the map which for some reason affects the flashlight.
If there are any issues with the Brightness of the flashlight in general, check your ReShade. If it is too dim/bright on certain maps(Most likely modded maps) Its up to those authors to update to the new lighting system.

What did i do ? 1. I download "Surefire Flashlights - 1.0" 2. I go into the folder named "1. M300C 500LUMENS" 3. Copy Paste the file "pakchunk99-Mods_Surefire_Flashlights_500Lumens_P.pak" into RON paks folder 4. I download "Surefire Flashlights - FDE Tan" 5. I go into the folder named "Surefire FDE" 6. Copy Paste the file "pakchunk99-Mods_Surefire_FDE_P.pak" into RON paks folder 7. Refresh "Quantum Mod Manager" 8. Activate mods then launch
What's happend ? The FDE file seems works fine, like with and without the model is correctly Black or FDE But the 3D Model is not the M300C, is M600
What did i try ? Using "Quantum" i try to change load order so load as 98 for each files but in different launch. that change nothing, so i try to get both of them load number lowered, did nothing too. I don't really know what to do now. If you can help me, or anyone ? Did i missundersting something ?

Hi! sorry for the confusion. At this time, there are no models currently attached to the respective names, those individual flashlights such as M300C is what I tried replicating the beams for during my limited research. So for now, the main files only change the flash light beam, and the optional files retexture the primary weapon flashlights - No models altered within these files at this time.
Would love to someday, but lately haven't had the time or motivation to dive into that with what time I do have. Check the ready or mod discord if you're interested in commissioning it to someone. Here
Yes same I also want a flashlight model replacer with only a presssure switch pad! Would be very useful to prevent sights from being blocked by a laser aiming module box etc.
You could choose to use it just for yourself, for squad use everyone would need to download. Could also mix and match if someone in the squad has a different preference, I'm unsure what adverse effects could happen visually for a squad, but should work just fine and it shouldn't cause any game breaking issues, though I've only tested up to 2 players and I don't recall noticing any issues during that time.
The attachments mod simply changes your equipment, so it should have 0 effect on the flashlight cone files in this mod. I'm using both just fine, was worried they might conflict but they dont.
This mod causes some player's and suspect's weapons to turn invisible in multi-player. I played 4-player tonight with friends and we all used the same file (M600DF 1200LUMENS). What's odd is two of us tested it before all 4 of us were on and it was fine. Our 3rd player joined and it was still fine, but when our 4th player got in, we started noticing the invisible weapons. We all tried restarted the game, even our PCs, and it didn't fix it. This is the only mod we're using, so we removed it and that fixed it.
Looked into it some while I could, I'll continue to investigate over the weekend / after the holidays. I couldn't replicate the issue with AI using 1200 lumens, which they will use any modified beams - Not a online environment but really the best I could do for now to try and rule a few things out. I understand schedules could vary for everyone but once things line up, if you would, consider trying 500lumens and see if the issue still occurs with your friends I'd be grateful. Of course, if you think of any additional info no matter how small you may think it could be, feel free to share.
Apparently I am a complete bonehead. So I have downloaed the manual install. Extracted the file and have the 4 folders. Opened one folder, in this case the 1200lumen, and placed the file that is in that folder into the content/paks folder. I start the game and do not see any new light as an option. Is it gun specific or am I wrong in expecting to see a new selectable light?
A1 demonstration video. Came here after aggressively downloading a bunch of maps and some of them are just WAY too dark, but the standard flashlight is just WAY TOO BRIGHT to actually see clearly in closer quarters. its actually pretty terrible. This should work wonders.
Hope it helps, though in recent when I was catching up on trying some custom maps, there are still plenty of maps that never updated their lighting , resulting in the flashlight vanilla or not, being way too bright. I don't know the difficulties of updating to the new lighting, perhaps not worth the time with recent updates always changing something with lighting, I really don't know. Below is directly from the ADAM patch mentioning it, its entirely up to the map authors AFAIK.
well having a widened radius was all i really needed to get it done. there was too much focused light straight in the middle at close distances. couldn't see s#*!, and the flickering lights on panama hotel were a headache until i used a wide light. it made it so much easier to go through the map.
