About this mod

This mod places a cab light in the SW1, SD7 and relocates the cab light in the GP9. All lights are placed so they are centered on the rear wall of the cab and up near the ceiling. This will enable illumination of the cab without obscuring your vision.

Permissions and credits
After adding a cab light to the SD7 in the same place as the GP9, I realized that I made a error in judgement. A light that doesn't obscure your vision out of the cab window would be much better. I decided that a mod that fixes all the issues of cab lights in the diesels in one package was needed.

The reason for the light on the cab back wall was that it seemed like a location that is easily accessable by the crew and lights the area where they walk. The SW1 light is up high on the back wall so it could be placed close to the same area as the actual light was located. The lights illuminates the controls without putting any glare on the front and rear cab windows. Also it helps immensely that the authors of this game did a great job on capturing the lighting that comes from these type of light fixtures.

This file only adds a entry line to the locomotives Definitions json file. It allows the file to reference a common item, the cab light, and it gives the coordinates within the cab for the object to be rendered. The light turns on and off in the same manner as all cab lights. This file contains no other changes to the locomotive. It does require that you access the Assets Folder in the Railroader directory and backup then replace the current Definitions.json's with the  Definitions.json's for each model located in their seperate folders located within the zip file. It is much easier to replace the current json file with a properly edited one than to have you edit the json file yourself.
